Man, how things have changed in my life recently, let me tell you. These days I'm reading once in a while. At least a bit more than I used to, which makes me feel good. One time I was home and I read the ebook version of the book "Ender's Game" and I read it in about 6 hours, which I suppose is pretty good for a 270 page book, but I doubt it breaks any world records. This year I donated lots of jeans to Goodwill, and the good thing is that I was able to help out the less fortunate, but I also had to buy new jeans for myself and it's not like I've won the lottery or anything (LOL!). Just recently, I added another blanket to my bed. My ex girlfriend gave it to me, and I can definitely feel the difference when I sleep. I suppose that when summer rolls around I'll have to take it off, but I'll probably save it until next winter. Oh, man did I mention I watched "Syriana"? That movie is crazy heavy. Makes you just think about stuff, ya know. Also, the other day I wanted to rearrange my room, but I decided to just move my bed a few inches to the south, and it made my room feel better. Currently, I'm listening to a song called "Nobody But You" by a blues singer called Junior Kimbrough. He sings with a pain and sadness that I can relate to, but I don't really want to think about it because I'm white and should pretend that my pain is not equal with that of an old black man who probably experienced racism and discrimination.
