Main camera:: Nikon D80.
Favorite Photography: I always have my camera on me. Whether it
be just
roaming around aimlessly or going to an event to capture the energy of
the entertainment / attendees. Some of my favorite photos to take
though are of landscapes, architecture, animals/wildlife, and also night / long
exposure photography. Taking my camera and tripod out for a long night of roaming and photography
feels like home to me.
About: I got into photography when I was about
8-10 years old. I
didn't do it alot, and I wasn't very good at it, but the interest was
there. The reason I didn't do it alot was because I was young, and going
to process film every week wasn't something I could do (and I never got
into developing it myself either). So usually I only took photos on
vacations or events (asking parents "can I take photos!?"). I even have
photo albums from way back then where I put in photos of anything and
everything. "Photo Adventures" you could call them. Photos of the hotel,
of us driving, of us arriving and leaving, of our cat greeting us when we returned
home, etc. Anyone who knows me now
adays knows I still do this. I take photos of anything and everything
and make photo adventures online about it. =)
Then I got into digital photography. I had a Kodak camera that took photos at a
maximum resolution of 640x480. Which is well below 1 megapixel. It was more around 0.3 megapixels.
The quality wasn't the greatest at all. But the fact that you could get your
photos right then and there (without having to wait and process film) was very cool.
From there I eventually got a
2 megapixel Olympus camera.. then a 3 megapixel FujiFilm camera. I took

And then, I eventually worked myself up to a 5 megapixel Kodak Camera.
That was a great camera, and was a huge step up from the others. All the
others were just point and shoots. Simple. The new Kodak though let me
control the aperture and shutter speed, etc. It opened
up a whole new world to my creativity. These photos were taken with it:

After that, I used a Sony digital camera for a little while. Then
from there, I took to Digital SLR.. which let me have even more creative
control over the camera. I used a Nikon D70 alot. And now have a Nikon
D80 with various lenses and accessories.
