Mfkzt were a three-piece grind assaults on the senses. Drum-machine blastbeats, fuzzy-as-hell bass and razor sharp guitar collided in a frenzy of minute-long musical attacks. The varied musical tastes of the 3 members made for a skull-shattering combination of grindcore, black metal, death metal and even stoner rock n' roll - often in the same 60 second onslaught. Imagine Pig Destroyer pulling guitar poses with Motorhead in the back of the bus from 'Speed'.
Mfkzt formed in April 2003, played 57 shows across the UK and Europe (well, one in Belgium), released 3 demos, a tour split CD with Sunshine Republic and a split 7'' on with Among The Missing (Bullfight Records). We had the best time of our lives over those three years and we thank everyone who helped make it happen.
Mfkzt shared many a hallowed stage with the implausible likes of Cathedral, Cephalic Carnage, Pig Destroyer, Total Fucking Destruction, High On Fire, Horse The Band, Narcosis, Blood Duster, Season's End, Castor Troy, Sunshine Republic, Flatlands, Among The Missing, Rolo Tomassi and Chronicles Of Adam West to name a few.
