About me:

Ghost Tracker Investigations - Ghost Tracker Radio - GHOST! Magazine
Matt Ferrell has always had a fascination with the paranormal and has been investigating ghosts, spirits and hauntings for over 7 years. He is most comfortable wherever there is a camera and an electrical outlet.
No one has all the answers on paranormal happenings, so he is always open to hearing other peoples ideas and theories, along with seeing what others have captured, listening to stories, learning and sharing information, etc. It's always interesting for him.
When it comes down to it, he is a 'skeptical believer' just looking for answers, whether they be paranormal, or explainable. Like many others, he has encountered paranormal activity.. but not everything that goes bump in the night is paranormal. And not everything paranormal is a 'ghost'. Everyone also has their own ideas of what a 'ghost' is, usually from movies they've seen, books they've read, research they've done, religious beliefs they have, etc. Because of this, Ferrell usually tends to prefer the term 'Paranormal Activity' rather then the term 'ghost'.
He has traveled and investigated such places as:
* Hotels
* Battlefields
* Cemeteries
* Museums
* Hospitals
* Private Homes
* Old Jails/Prisons
* Lighthouses
* Theatres
* Schoolhouses
* Restaurants
* Bed and Breakfasts/Inns
* Locations around St. Augustine, Florida; Cassadaga, Florida; Savannah,
Georgia, etc.
...and more.
In the past, Ferrell was a founding member of the group "JAGS" (Jacksonville Amateur Ghosthunting Society) as well as the short lived "PSI: Paranormal Research and Beyond". He was also the founder and owner of the "Online Ghost Hunters Society" (which later changed names to "Ghost Hunters Online") which became a huge online community with loads of members and was a great informational resource. Most notably he was a core member of the group "North Florida Paranormal Research, Inc. Ghost Tracker Investigations" for 6+ years. Ghost Tracker was a featured group on the Discovery Channel as well as ran ghost tours in downtown Jacksonville and Cassadaga, Florida and taught several Ghost Hunting 101 workshops year after year.
Non-group wise, he later found himself as a co-founder, producer and webmaster of "Ghost Tracker Radio", which interviewed top names in the paranormal field (including Hans Holzer, Troy Taylor, John Zaffis, etc.), various research groups/investigators and authors from around the world, mediums, and more.. and then later helped create "GHOST! Magazine" where he was a founder / editor and webmaster. G!Mag is a popular and successful online and in print magazine for the Ghost Hunting Enthusiast, and was the first magazine of its kind in the paranormal field.

Ferrell is no stranger to the other side of the camera as he has helped do feature work for:
* The NBC Today Show
* TBS/TNT/Turner South Networks
* Public Broadcasting Service (PBS)
* Boca Raton Educational Television
* National Geographic Television
* Globe Trekker
* Animal Planet
* ABC
* CBS
* NBC, and more.
He has also worked with several radio stations including WQIK, WROO, The Lex and Terry Morning Show, Planet Radio, and also provided info/interviews to various magazines, newspapers and websites including The Daytona Beach News Journal [read article here], The American Society of Skeptics and firefox.org [view article]. His web designs continue to win awards each year.
