About me:
This site is set up for all Alumni from Marian Heights Academy and Academy Immaculate Conception. If you are an Academy Girl who attended school in Ferdinand, Indiana this site is for you. Please pass along this site to all Academy Girls! This site is an alternative to our official Alumni site. During our Alumni Board meeting we discussed various ways to reach all Alumni. Many of the Alumni stated that our official site was too hard to find so we've decided to try this new route.

Marian	Mar 29 2009 2:22 PM I believe the reunion day is June 28th, the last Sunday of that month. You are welcome to bring friends or family. There will be more info later but if you go to www.thedome.org and at the bottom of the opening page there is a small link to the alumni page. It will have a reunion section, it might be from last year yet but it will still give info regarding the reunion and such.

SnowBunny!!!	Jan 26 2009 12:32 AM Hello everyone, I just wanted to give a little update. I am still living in Owensboro, Ky with my husband of almost eight years and my two kids, Abriel 22 months and Eastin 7 years. I have just started my 3rd semester of Nursing. I only have one more to go. I will graduate in December 09. I am currently working as a Nurse extern on Pediatrics and I love it. I hope everyone is doing well. Hope to hear from you all soon!!
Melanie	Dec 29 2008 3:00 AM This is Melanie (used to be Boarman, class of 88). To any of you who were at the Academy anywhere from 1984 to 2000, you may have known a woman that worked in the cafeteria named Freida Oeding. She had a son named Tim who liked to visit on the hill quite a bit. Tim was killed in a car accident a week before Thanksgiving. He had a wife and 2 kids and had just started a new job, so his insurance hadn't kicked in, yet. There is a fundraiser for him on January 17th in Ferdinand. Anyone who is interested in attending, I can send you the info...just drop me a note. Hugs, Mel

Aunt Em	Oct 30 2008 12:23 AM Amy Brockman (96) dropped me a line today letting me know Sr. Carla Mitchell had passed yesterday! She was 104. She taught a few students Latin! I can't believe that cute old bird lived to be a 104!
Marti	Oct 21 2008 5:09 PM www. aneveningforella. org I heard about this. One of the ladies that is a host on the early morning radio show that I listen to lost a child to SIDS. Actually it might be Ella, but I'm not sure. She was talking about it the other day. It sounds like it will be a wonderful experience for all those who attend. I am not able to go, but I do encourage anyone who can to do so.

Marian	Jun 25 2008 12:21 PM Glad you're coming! As far as somewhere good to eat,.... I have various views on what's good but here are a few the locals really like, The Schnitzlebank (spelling isn't great on this one but it's close). There is the Mill House, it's on Mill street in the middle of Jasper. If you like Mexican everyone likes Los Bravos, it's on 231 South in Jasper. There is a new Nightclub/rest. in Jasper called Hammerhead. There are a ton of Chinese food places. I'm not sure what's in Ferdinand, I think there is a new Mexican place. Hope this helped. Marian	Jun 20 2008 11:26 PM Hi, There are a few places in Jasper, The Jasper Inn usually has a band on the weekend and there is a new place called Hammerhead in Jasper, it looks very promising.
