Galactic Alignment in 2012 Feared to Cause Pole Shift

Niburu - 26,000 year wobble - The Dark Rift

    Earth's Precession
As Earth spins on its axis, its axis wobbles (precesses) very slowly over a period of about 23,000 to 26,000 years. As this occurs, the pole of the Earth inscribes an arc in the heavens called the precessional arc. Earth's pole aligns with different pole stars throughout the precessional period. Polaris is Earth's current north-pole star. Earth's precessional cycle is also referred to as Earth's "Great Year." Because Earth's axis is tilted 23° 27' in its orbit around the sun, Earth's equatorial plane is tilted with respect to the ecliptic plane, the plane created by Earth's orbit. These two intersecting planes create an intersecting line called the vernal axis. Looking from Earth, we see one point along this axis lying in one direction in the ecliptic, and the other lying in the opposite direction. One point is the location in the ecliptic where the sun resides on the spring equinox. This location is the vernal point (VP). The other point is the location where the sun resides on the autumnal equinox. This is the anti-vernal point Precession of the Tropical Zodiak As Earth's pole precesses, Earth's equatorial plane wobbles in the plane of the ecliptic. This causes the vernal axis and the vernal (equinox) points to move around the ecliptic at a rate of about 1° every 72 years, making one complete cycle in Earth's precessional Great Year. The precessional movement of the vernal points is called the "precession of the equinoxes." The vernal point is also the fiducial (reference point) for the tropical zodiak, defining 0° tropical Aries. Because the vernal point moves in the ecliptic, the entire set of signs comprising the tropical zodiak also moves with respect to the stars (and the sidereal zodiak), which remain fixed in their location in the heavens. The Astrological Ages The location of the vernal point in the sidereal zodiak defines the current zodiakal age. The sidereal zodiak is a set of signs, much like the tropical signs, except they do not move in the ecliptic. The sidereal signs are aligned with their corresponding constellations. The tropical zodiak aligned with the fixed sidereal zodiak around 200 A.D. but has since drifted 25°; i.e. this was when zero degrees tropical Aries aligned with 0° sidereal Aries. The vernal point currently resides at about 5° sidereal Pisces as it slowly moves toward the sidereal sign of Aquarius--thus we are completing the age of Pisces. We will formally enter the age of Aquarius when the vernal point precesses to 0° Aquarius--in about 360 years (5° x 72 yrs) from now. The vernal point is also called the Birthplace, or the Office of the Christ (point of the soul)--governing the timing of the re-birth of the sun-sol-soul consciousness into the world. The vernal point's arrival to 5° sidereal Pisces at this time in Earth's precessional cycle (circa 2000 A.D.) creates a primary event that supersedes the importance of changing zodiakal ages: this event is "The Erection of the Holy Cross." The center (blue) ring is the sidereal zodiak. It reveals the orientation of the twelve sidereal signs with respect to the fixed and primary galactic axis in the ecliptic (the horizontal line). The galactic equatorial node (GEN) defines 5° sidereal Sagittarius, the primary reference point for the sidereal zodiak. The outer (violet) ring reveals the thirteen ecliptical constellations. This ring shows where the boundaries of the actual constellations cross the ecliptic. The constellation Virgo encompasses the largest length of the ecliptic (about 44°). The constellation Scorpio dips south of the ecliptic plane with only the Scorpion's head lying upon the ecliptic--encompassing only about 6° of the ecliptic. Ophiuchus, the serpent holder, stands upon the Scorpion and crosses the ecliptic--thus creating the thirteenth ecliptical constellation. The inner (green ring) is the tropical zodiak (at 2000 A.D.) The tropical zodiak moves around the ecliptic with respect to the fixed stars--with respect to the sidereal zodiak and to the constellations. Aldebaran, Eye of the Bull, and Antares, Heart of the Scorpion, mark the center of their respective signs: 15° sidereal Taurus and 15° sidereal Scorpio. Aldebaran, Antares, Regulus (Heart of the Lion), and Fomalhaut (the fishes mouth), are the Four Royal Architects, giving structure and order to the Heavens. Regulus is Chief or King of the Four Royals. It is the only one of the four lying exactly on the ecliptic plane. At 5° sidereal Leo, Regulus is also the only one aspecting the Holy Cross. Regulus, or "the Rex" means the Law Giver--a clue to its astrological influence as the Heart of the Lion. The Galactic Axis Just as Earth is tilted as it orbits the sun, so too is our solar system tilled as it orbits around the center of our galaxy. This means that the ecliptic plane is tilted (about 60°) within our galaxy's equatorial plane. This creates another intersecting line, one which remains stationary (relative to Earth's precessional period). This axis is called the galactic equatorial axis and it is the fixed axis of the Holy Cross. The primary reference point of this axis is the galactic equatorial node (GEN), which resides at 5° sidereal Sagittarius. This node is called the "Gate of God." Its opposite point, the anti-GEN, resides at 5° sidereal Gemini and it is called the "Gate of Man." The Holy Cross The changing relationship between these two axes ( the moving vernal axis and the fixed galactic axis) creates the "Cycle of the Holy Cross." As the Earth precesses and the vernal point moves around the ecliptic, it changes its geometric relationship to the fixed GEN. The vernal point currently resides at the 3/4 point (270°) in its cycle, making the vernal axis exactly perpendicular to the galactic axis, thus creating a perfect cross in the ecliptic--the Erect Holy Cross. Intercession of the Holy Cross The precessional wobble of Earth's pole is responsible the entire Cycle of the Holy Cross. I suggest the precessional movement of Earth's pole is the timepiece that drives the "Evolutionary Cycle of the Soul" collective on Earth--the unfoldment of human consciousness. We are just emerging from the last 12,000 years of temporal darkness, which began at the last (90°) erect cross (about 10,000 to 12,000 years ago), the time of separation from unified awareness--the time of the "Biblical Flood." The Erection of the Holy Cross occurring now (~2,000 A.D.) marks the time in this Great World Cycle where a re-unification in consciousness begins. The erect Holy Cross occurring now creates a primary transition in the precessional cycle of the Holy Cross, in the "Evolutionary Cycle of the Soul." This event is far more significant than the changing of an astrological age. At this time in Earth's precessional cycle, the pole of the Earth tilts back toward the plane of galactic light (after having been tilted away for the last 12,000 years). This creates a primary turning (a re-tuning) in the experience of human consciousness that causes an illumination from "within" the very structure of our consciousness--in our molecular makeup--as a avalanche of soul-level light begins to pour through the DNA--the Urn of the Soul. The illumination of the DNA marks the beginning of a transition in our molecular mode of being--creating a shift from bio-logical reasoning to bio-illumination resulting in unified field perception. The Sidereal and Tropical Relationship Just as the tropical signs are referenced to the moving axis of the Holy Cross, the fixed sidereal signs are referenced to the fixed, galactic axis of the Holy Cross. Because of the precession of the equinoxes, the tropical signs continue to drift from the sidereal signs and further from the true star positions that characterize the signs to start with. Although the twelve divisions of both zodiakal systems are created by natural harmonics occurring in the ecliptic, they are harmonics referenced to different realms of consciousness. The RELATIONSHIP of the moving tropical zodiak with respect to the fixed sidereal zodiak reveals the nature of the relationship of lost incarnate personality consciousness with respect to the true soul level awareness--that is, where we are in the evolutionary unfoldment of human consciousness. Why Two Zodiaks First, we must realize that the wisdom of the true astrology of the ancients, as with other esoteric (Gnostic) wisdom, was transferred (taken) from Babylon, Caldia, and Egypt, and then it was eventually bastardized into a confused menagerie. This seems to have started with the dominating influence of Alexander the Great, king of Macedonia (336 to 323 B.C.), who catalyzed an amalgamation of Egyptian, Babylonian, and Greco-Roman thought into a new cultural expression in the 4th century B.C.; and later by Ptolemy. Subduing Egypt during his conquerings and explorations, Alexander proclaimed himself Pharaoh in 332 B.C. while placating native priests at Memphis. He founded Alexandria, which was to become a primary intellectual center, and which was primarily Greek and Jewish. Here, miss-understood Egyptian mysteries and Greek philosophies merged into the "Mysteries of Serapis." This was the cultural emergence of esoteric teachings prominent throughout Alexandria's golden age. (Mysteries simply means esoteric teachings about life, not unfathomable or secret.) Also a center for Jewish learning, the Great Temple of Serapis is believed to be where the Old Testament was translated from Hebrew into Greek. Alexander's dominating influence in coastal Egypt and his further conquest of Baylon along with much of Asia Minor laid the foundations for the various religious factions of the Greco-Roman world. (Alexander attempted to create a master race through a genetic fusion of Macedonian men with Persian women--just one example of this megalomaniac's brutal conquests.) Beginning with the death of Alexander in 323 B.C. and continuing through around 31 B.C., the Hellenistic Period gave birth to a diversity of esoteric philosophies and occult practices, all derived from the Egyptian and Babylonian mysteries. The cultural peak of this period, from 280 B.C. to 160 B.C., produced Euclid, Hipparchus, Eratosthenes, Dionysius and many other creative thinkers, who all expounded upon the cultural influence of Ancient Egypt. However, although this period carried forth some of the ancient esoteric teachings in a new intellectual language, it also produced a highly intellectualized amalgamate of confused ideas. The Hellenists bastardized Egypt's already cryptic and esoteric language into near total confusion because the majority of the Hellenistic culture did not have the perceptual awareness to comprehend matters of the soul, nor had they the capacity to intellectually comprehend Egypt's mythical picture language. Instead of grasping the language (astronomical mythical images as well as Egyptian hieroglyphics) from a soul perspective and realizing the transcendent wisdom of the evolutionary journey of the soul, the Greco-Romans attempted to translate this picture language from the perspective of the limited personality. This reduced Ancient Egypt's esoteric wisdom into a non-sensible confusion of men worshipping a pantheon of gods and stars. The dispersion of this confusion from Alexandria into Eastern Europe through the centuries ahead led to confused occult practices and perverted systems of belief that ran rampant throughout Eastern Europe at the time. The Roman Empire, Christianity and Byzantium, and their various sects--all derivations of the esoteric wisdom of Ancient Egypt--were the eventual result of this confused cultural fusion that originated in and migrated from Alexandria. Prior to the early few centuries of the first millennia, planetary measurement was always referenced to the fixed stars (sidereal) as was the astrology of the ancients (Babylonia, etc). Astronomy and astrology were always one and the same until the Greco-Roman church-state astronomers began to record planetary ephemerides referenced to the moving vernal point rather than to the fixed stars, but ignoring that the vernal point moved with precessional, and while maintaining that all other heavenly bodies rotated around the Earth--a statement certainly affirming true egoic consciousness. (This was due in particular to Claudius Ptolemaeus (c. 90 - c. 168 AD) who was employed by the Greco-Roman controlling faction. Ptolemaeus was a mathematician, not a true astronomer. Some assert he never even looked into the heavens as an astronomer would look (Allen).) To say anything other than Earth was the center was heresy, so only those willing to sell out to the manipulative ploys of the church-state, and perpetuate the asserted geocentric dogma of western Christendom, stayed on the pay-role and kept their heads (actually, they were burned at the stake!). Here was planted the bastardization of true soul level astronomical astrology, and here began the Hellenistic, Ptolemaic, tropical astrology in an age of suppression, and which is still in vogue today. This manipulation and bastardization of the true astrological artscience into tropical astrology also affirmed that people had a finite life at the end of which they would either be saved or punished depending if they followed the dictums of the controlling political-religious faction, thus squelching any desire for individuals to spiritually aspire and awaken to the greater truth that they were durative, continually evolving souls; parts of, not separate from a greater unified intelligence. The true and greater art-sciences including astronomical astrology, Pythagorean sacred geometry, harmonic math, and other such art-sciences, were forced underground until the later time of Nicolaus Copernicus in the 1500’s who finally triumphed in eradicating the perpetuated dogma that Earth was the center around which all other heavenly bodies rotated--the egoic head-trip of the Greco-Roman church-state. From here, others would follow: Tycho Brahe (1546-1601), Johann Bayer, and later yet, Johann Kepler (December 27, 1571 - November 15, 1630), who, in the early 1600’s, brought forth the truth of the occulted astronomical and mathematical wisdom based in harmonic resonance that had been long lost. Kepler's most famous book is "Harmonia Mundi" (Harmony of the Worlds). Kepler was a mathematician, astronomer AND astrologer (responsible for revealing the affect of many astrological aspects / harmonics). Kepler is sometimes referred to as "the first theoretical astrophysicist." It is interesting to note that many of the religions of the world, as well as the perpetuation of "tropical astrology" still in vogue today are based on the confused mentalities common to the early first millennia. It is also interesting to consider that the perpetual use of tropical astrology today may be an energetic and harmonic affirmation that perpetuates a chiasm in time that continues to widen at the rate of Earth's precession, one keeping the masses drifting in time-confusion rather than living in the truth that the true sidereal zodiak reveals. Perhaps Pluto's transit through sidereal Sag starting in 2006 will help open the way for the truth of the heavens to eventually shine. Houses of the Sun As revealed in the recent and comprehensive work, "History of the Zodiac," an in-depth exploration of the origins of the Babylonian Zodiac and its location in the ecliptic, originally a Ph.D. thesis, by Dr. Robert Powell (now published in 2007), the division of the ecliptic into tropical astrological signs was originally a derivation of Euctemon's tropical Calendar of Seasons (432 B.C.); "...dividing the solar year into twelve equal months commencing with the vernal equinox, in which each solar (tropical) month is named after one the twelve signs..." (Powell). The tropical calendrical system (referenced from the vernal point) was merely used as an astronomical coordinate system for measuring time in the solar year, at or just after the time of Hipparchus. Astrological qualities were later attributed to the twelve calendar months (tropical signs) through the influence of Ptolemy, and the true (sidereal) zodiak, thus faded into obscurity. Unfortunately the term "signs" had replaced "months." The tropical calendar (tropical zodiac) was based upon the sun's declination above and below the earth's equator, not the sun's ecliptical longitude. From an astrological perspective, I suggest the tropical signs should be called "Houses of the Sun," more aptly describing their true historical origin, as eloquently revealed in Robert Powell's work "History of the Zodiac" (Sophia Academic Press, San Rafael, California 2007) -- recomended reading for all astrologers and astronomers. https://sophiafoundation.org The Galactic Ayanamsa: Reckoning of the Sidereal Zodiak The exact location of the sidereal cusps in the ecliptic is a topic of debate amongst scholars. The exact distance in arc degrees between 0° tropical Aries and 0° sidereal Aries is therefor one of interpretation. This distance is called the "ayanamsa" (a Hindu word). There are several ayanamsas in vogue today, all varying slightly from one another. Most ayanamsas are reckoned to the stars, which also move although quite slowly relative to Earth time. The most common is the Fagan-Bradley Ayanamsa. It is reckoned to the star Spica in sidereal Virgo. The Fagan-Bradley Ayanamsa is 24° 44' 12" @ 2000 A.D. This means that on Jan 1, 2000, 00:00:00: GMT, the tropical zodiak has drifted backward from the fixed sidereal zodiak by 24° 44' 12" based upon the Fagan-Bradley Ayanamsa. This places the vernal point (0° tropical Aries) at 5° 15' 48" in sidereal Pisces. Other arguments adjust the sidereal signs such that Aldebaran's ecliptical longitude is exactly in the center of sidereal Taurus; or that of Antares in the center of sidereal Scorpio (those being two of the four royal architects (meaning: revealing structure in the heavens). Because they are both south of the ecliptic, it is thought by some that it makes more sense to use a star on the ecliptic plane (0° ecliptical latitude), such as Spica or Regulus, heart of the Lion. Regulus, for this reason, (near 5° sidereal Leo depending on which Ayanamsa you use) is considered the King or Chief of the four Royal stars (Regulus is from Rex, meaning law giver; i.e., defining order in the heavens). The recent work of Robert Powell (2007) presents historical evidence that the Babylonian Zodiac was referenced to the Aldebaran / Antares axis. I prefer to reckon the sidereal zodiak to the galactic axis of the Holy Cross. This approach is based on the harmonic math and spherical geometry of the astrophysical spheres involved (specifically our solar system's current location and orientation (tilt) in our galaxy / the galactic equatorial axis / Gate of God), rather than on star locations as seen from Earth. Therefor, I introduce the "Galactic Ayanamsa." Now, before you loyal Fagan-Bradley astrologers (or any others) scoff, please understand I am placing astrological and astronomical precedence in the geometric relationship between the vernal axis and the galactic axis over the relationship of tropical and sidereal signs. The signs are merely harmonic divisions nesting within this far more embracing astrophysical geometry. The tropical signs are based upon the moving vernal axis of this underlying geometry and the sidereal signs are based upon fixed galactic axis--thus independent of constellations, which are imagery that has evolved and changed over time, and independent of stellar placement. Consider that the fixed galactic equatorial axis relates more to our durative soul-level awareness, whereas the moving vernal axis reveals the current incarnational punctual moment (our daily tropical experience), precipitating from the durative soul stream (sidereal / soul experience). Realizing the relevance of Holy Cross geometry (the movement and geometric orientation of our Earth and Sun in our galaxy) places the signs (and our awareness) in the far greater context of our evolutionary sojourn as a stellar race of sentient souls. Thus, the Galactic Ayanamsa is defined by the Galactic Equatorial Node (GEN) as being the prime fiducial of the sidereal zodiak; setting the GEN (Gate of God) to exactly 5° 00' 00" sidereal Sagittarius. The Galactic Ayanamsa is 25° 00' 00" @ 2000 A.D. Thus, 0° Tropical Aries currently resides at 5° 00' sidereal Pisces @ 2000 A.D. and the tropical zodiak has drifted from the fixed sidereal zodiak by 25° 00' 00" based upon the Galactic Ayanamsa. The placement of the sidereal signs reckoned to the Galactic Equatorial Node (Galactic Ayanamsa) is quite close to the both the Fagan-Bradley reckoning (Spica) and the Babylonian reckoning (Aldebaran). Differences this small can become an academic argument only. However, various stars may lie on different sides of the sign cusps depending on which reckoning is used. Detailed exploration of the appropriate placement of cuspal stars is something I have explored using the Galactic reckoning, perhaps to be published at a later time. Another area where the exactness of sidereal sign cusps are of significance is when using sub-divisions of the signs (dwads, etc) where each sub-division is ruled by a specific sign. Using this astrological technique, the placement of a planet in a chart may cause it to cross a sub-cusp depending on the reckoning used. This is another interesting way to experientially explore which reckoning makes sense. Due to Earth's precession and the constantly moving vernal point (0° tropical Aries), the ayanamsa (any ayanamsa) is a dynamic figure, it therefor must is referenced to a specific time in the precessional cycle--generally this is 1950 or 2000 A.D. When converting a tropical chart to a sidereal chart, this precessional drift must be taken into account, especially if making a chart in the far distant past or future. Software programs generally take into account Earth's precessional drift and nutational variances when calculating a sidereal chart, but the sidereal astrologer must choose the ayanamsa of his or her choice. Star longitudes must be adjusted to the chosen ayanamsa if adding individual stars to an astrological chart. This is important due to the tight orb of stellar influence. * The Ayanamsa @ 2000 AD can be used to convert tropical longitudes to sidereal longitudes. For example if your Sun resides at 0° 00' 00" Aries (exactly on the vernal point) subtract 24° 44' 12" to get your sun's sidereal location using the Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa. Or subtract 25° 00' 00" to get your sun's sidereal location using the Galactic Ayanamsa. A quick and simple shortcut to this is to add 5° and drop back a sign; i.e., if your tropical Ascendant is 9° 00' sidereal Pisces (add 5°, minus one sign). Your sidereal ASC is 14° 00' sidereal Aquarius. This is true for charts cast around 2000 AD. Remember, an ayanamsa changes over time at the rate of precession. The chart lists ayanamsa for two epcohs: 1950 and 2000 A.D. ** The Delta figure can be used to convert sidereal longitudes calculated with one ayanamsa to the Galactic Ayanamsa. For example, if you have a computer program that calculates your sun to be at 15° 03' sidereal Taurus (aligning with Aldebaran) using the Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa, you can subtract ~ 00° 16' (- 00° 15' 48") to get the Sun's location at 14° 47' using the Galactic Ayanamsa. Precessional Time is NOT a Constant To further compound the problem of zodiakal reckoning, we must recognize that the rate of Earth's precession is NOT a constant. It is accurate to say the last erect Holy Cross had occurred exactly 180° degrees ago in the precessional cycle, but we can only estimate that to have been 9,000 to 13,000 years ago. The rate of precession may vary over long periods of time, or even oscillate around some harmonic ideal. There are many continuously changing astronomical factors that affect the rate of precession. (Just as we can not pinpoint a date in the distant past is why I suggest man-made calendars made in antiquity fall short of being able to predict future evolutionary changes to a specific date.) "The Great World Cycle," or "Earth's Great Year," as Earth's precessional cycle is sometimes called, is estimated to be between 22,000 and 26,000 solar years--often rounded to the latter figure. The 25,920 figure, often seen, is a natural harmonic ideal found in quantum math. Another quantum number of significance is 22,680, quite close to the 23,000 figure. These are all academic figures however: Earth's current rate of precession is calculated to be ~25,867 years. This is about 1° every ~71.85 years, or 0° 00' 50.26" per year. The cause of Earth's precession is not fully understood although the conventional Newtonian theory, suggesting that it is caused by solunar gravitational forces, has been the accepted model, but this is only one model and it is being challenged with modern-day astronomical and mathematical understandings. A binary star model, where our sun and another sun orbit each other, being the cause of Earth's precession is being explored by astrophysics researcher Walter Cruttenden. He suggests our binary sun's average orbital period is 24,000 years, with it slowing to 22,000 years or less at the binary orbit's apoapsis and increasing to 26,000 years at its periapsis. The East Indian scholar, Sri Yukteswar (Sriyukteshwar)--("The Holy Science" 1984)--purported our sun is in a binary orbit with another star (although not suggesting this to be the cause of precession). Paramahansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi) was a direct disciple of Sri Yukteswar. Note: There is not any factual indication this other potential star is Sirius or a star in the Pleiades as is sometimes said in some new-age circles. Cruttenden's calculations place its current location in the constellation Sagittarius but very near the Sag-Ophiuchus border, along the right leg of Ophiuchus. * * * View the Sidereal Heavens: Under the Stars Getting to know the heavens: This link is to a sky map of the heavens that shows the stars, constellations, and the sidereal signs. Visually learn how the stars and constellations interrelate and blend to create each sidereal sign. This is a wonderful tool for the novice or seasoned astrologer, for the astronomer, for the casual sky watcher, or simply for those who wish to know more of the Greater Heavens under which we live. The Sky Chart is also a wonderful reference for the material presented in each month's Lunar Planner. Here is the original story by Ted Twietmeyer...
Recently, a pilot sent www.data4science.net several images of a plane which is clearly rigged for aerial chemtrail or biological spraying taxiing on the ground at an airport in Canada. After studying and researching the plane images and origin, I feel they are authentic. Why do I suggest the plane might be used for biological spraying? Previously released photos of acknowledged experimental spray planes built for NASA had massive concentric rings mounted on the rear tail of the plane.
I will uphold the pilot's desire for privacy and withhold the name. Based on information provided, here is the exact location of the chemtrail plane at the time the photographs were taken -

Fig. 4 ¬ Enlarged image of spraying pod mounted under port-side wing. Pod is painted to somewhat match the engine color on the plane. However, note pod mounting strut doesn't match the underside wing color. Note the number "2" on the pod. The starboard side wing is most likely pod #1. I have added the letters to identify key parts of the image which are referenced below.
Legend:
A - Propeller on the front of the pod drives an internal generator or pump. Based on the shadows under the plane, we can determine this image was made sometime around mid-day.

B - Funnel-cone with an exit port mounted on center of engine exhaust for additional spraying capability. Exhaust that exits here may not necessarily be superheated air, as most of today's engines are high-bypass designs for maximum thrust and efficiency. The engine could have been designed to have a fresh-air channel running straight down the center. This would be important when spraying biological agents in order not to destroy them.

C - Semi-circle black lines along the bottom are probably air intake screens. Being on the underside of the pod, they would be exposed to the high pressure flow of air under the wing.

D ¬ Afterbirth: Curve of pod mounting strut almost matches that of the plane's wing, but is not quite perfect. No aircraft manufacturer would ever release a plane with the large gap in the mount that we see here. This pod was clearly manufactured by a third party.

The Dresden Codex — the Book of Mayan Astronomy
By Bohumil Böhm and Vladimir Böhm

A multi-page version of this article may be found at http://www. volny. cz/paib/dresden_codex. htm.

The advanced Mayan culture developed thanks to a complex synthesis of different culture streams arising from the home agricultural base, influenced by cultural values coming from regions lying out of the territory of Mayan settlement. Its forming falls to the so-called early phase of the initial period placed between 1500 – 800 BC. It was spread step-by-step to the regions of Guatemala, south-eastern Mexico, Belize, Salvador and north-western Honduras. The construction of beautiful and splendid cathedral cities, fine arts of sculpture and painting, use of their own hieroglyphic script, success in astronomy, existence of the literature and the development of handicraft and trade were the outer expression of this cultural-economic rise.

The results of Mayan observations and calculations of astronomical phenomena are concentrated in the Dresden Codex. It is a band of paper 3.5 meter long set up into 39 sheets making up 78 pages 8.5 x 20.5 cm. The paper was obtained from the bark of wild-growing species of fig tree. It is supposed that it originates from Yucatan as a latter transcription of an elder original. It contains calendrical data, written in the Mayan dating system, concerning astronomical data and the sky mechanics, and tables of multiple integers that are to be used for calculations of planetary movement ephemerids and tropical years, next to the hieroglyphic texts and numerous depicturings of the Mayan gods and ritual scenes.

The data contained in the Dresden Codex were studied by many researchers who suspected they contain astronomical data. M.Meinshausen (1913), C.E.Guthe (1921) and H.Spinden (1930) were the first who had been interested in the eclipses tables. E.Foerstemann has drawn our attention to Venus visibility ephemerides tables; he also issued the Dresden Codex with a commentary in 1892. The analysis of these ephemerides has been made by J.E.Teeple (1926). R.W.Wilson believed that some of the data could concern the observations of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn (1924). The above-mentioned researchers, and lots of others, worked with the calculation coefficients of 584,283 or 584,285 days accordingly to Goodman-Martinez-Thompson when converting the Mayan dates into the Christian dating system, or tried to calculate their own coefficient. For this reason their conclusions were very diverse.

One of the most important problems during the studies of various Mayan culture phenomena had been the problem of correlating the Mayan to our Christian dating system. In present times we are used to correlate the Mayan dates with the Christian ones using the Goodman-Martínez-Thompson correlation. Accordingly to it, a stable coefficient of 584,283 or 584,285 days is added to the Mayan dates expressing the counts of days which have passed from a particular day to the date of a certain event. The Mayan date is converted into a Julian day number and the latter finally to the corresponding day, month and year of the Julian calendar used in modern astronomy.

Working with the Mayan data of the Dresden Codex we found that the Goodman-Martínez-Thompson correlation is unusable, even for the dates evidently concerning certain astronomical phenomena, such as the observations of Venus visibility, or Sun and Moon eclipses. We have obtained a new coefficient of 622,261 days for the conversion of the Mayan dates to our dating system by a complete analysis of the mutual relations between the time intervals of all the Mayan dates in the Dresden Codex and 400 inscriptions from the cathedral cities. Using the so called Böhm correlation coefficient we were successful in proving that all data contained in the Dresden Codex are concerning astronomical phenomena.

The Mayan astronomical observations were carried out by simple measuring methods. It is therefore necessary to examine them statistically while respecting unavoidable accuracy scatter. It applies first of all to the sky phenomena calculated to the past and the future during several centuries recorded in the Dresden Codex.

The dated astronomical observations are concerning following:

1. The observations of Venus visibility, when it had appeared for the first time after its conjunction with the Sun as a morning star in the sky shortly before the sunrise, or after its upper conjunction, when it had appeared in the sky as an evening star shortly after the sunset.

2. The observations of Mercury visibility. Its trajectory creates an eccentric ellipse. Thanks to this eccentricity the synodic circulations of the planet lasts from 104 to 132 days. The average length of the synodic circulation is 115.877484 days. The considerable proximity of the planet to the Sun makes its glow suppressed by dazzling sunshine. For that reason, the Mayan astronomers could have observed it only when the planet gets to the greatest angle distance during its circulation around the Sun, so called elongation. It is the western elongation, when Mercury rises over the horizon shortly before sunrise and the eastern elongation, when it is briefly visible over the western horizon right after sunset. The maximal angle distances are as a rule moving between 18 to 23 degrees. The maximal elongation of 27 degrees and 49 minutes happens when this elongation visible from the Earth runs during the epihelium, that means the greatest distance between Mercury and the Sun (Mercury gets there once for its sidereal circulation on its eccentric trajectory). The sidereal circulation is the real time of circulation of any planet around the Sun and it makes in this case 87.9693 days. During the perihelia (minimal distance from the Sun) is the maximal angle distance visible from the Earth 15 degrees and 55 minutes. It seems as if the planet stood in one place for 4-12 days in the time of maximal elongations. Its angle distance from the Sun changes between 1-2 degrees. This insignificant movement could not have been discovered by the Mayan observing methods. For that reason their determination of Mercury elongations moves on average inside the borders of that "mistake".

3. The solar eclipses and the fullmoons and newmoons.

4. The observation of the heliacal risings and settings of the planets. The heliacal rise sets in after the planets’ conjunction with the Sun, when they are visible in the morning sky before the sunrise. During their heliacal setting the planets are visible in the evening sky after sunset. In the period of conjunction the planets are invisible for a few days. By observing the heliacal risings and settings dates we are able to determine the length of the synodic circulations of the planets.

5. The observation of the planetary conjunctions (when two planets observable from the Earth get in line and are nearly covering each other). The Dresden Codex is mostly describing only close approaches of the planets because some of the dates are calculated to the past and to the future.

6. The determination of equinoxes and solstices.

All the astronomical phenomena in the Dresden Codex are counted for the visibility from the geographical area of the Mayan culture.

UNDERSTANDING THE MAYAN CALENDAR
..
Eric Madrid 2012 Studios, Inc. January 28, 2007

Many of us are aware of the Mayan calendar but not many people truly understand what it means and how it works. Yes, the calendar does end on December 21, 2012, but what does that mean? How does it come to that? What is the calendar based on?

The Mayans had a very precise understanding of our solar system's cycles and believed that these cycles coincided with our spiritual and collective consciousness. The most significant of these cycles has much to do with the 2012 prophecies. In the following writing, we will walk through the main details of their prophecies surrounding the 2012 transition. We'll cover how the transition takes place (from an astronomical perspective), what it means for us, and when the cycles take place. We'll start with the basic prophecies and later move deeper into the explanation of the cycles.

The Mayans prophesied that from 1999 we have 13 years to realize the changes in our conscious attitude, to stray from the path of self-destruction and instead move onto a path that opens our consciousness to integrate us with all that exists.

The Mayans knew that our Sun, or Kinich-Ahau, synchronized every so often with the enormous central galaxy. From this central galaxy, the Sun receives a 'spark' of light, which caused it to shine more intensely, producing what our scientists call 'solar flares' as well as changes in the Sun's magnetic field. The Mayans say that this happens every 5,125 years, and that it causes a displacement in the earths rotation. Because of this movement, they predicted that great catastrophes would be produced.

The Mayans believed the universal processes, like the 'breathing' of the galaxy, are cycles that never change. What changes is the consciousness of man that passes through it, always in a process toward perfection. Based on their observations, the Mayans predicted that from the initial date of the start of their civilization, 4 Ahau, 8 Cumku, which is 3113 B.C., one cycle would be completed 5,125 years in their future, on December 21st, 2012. The Sun, having received a powerful ray of synchronizing light from the center of the galaxy, would change its polarity, producing a great cosmic event that would propel human kind to be ready to cross into a new era, The Golden Age. It is after this, the Mayans say, we will be ready to go through the door that was left by them, transforming our civilization from one based on fear to a vibration much higher in harmony.

Only from our individual efforts could we avoid the path to great cataclysm that our planet will suffer to start a new era, the sixth cycle of the Sun. The Mayan civilization was in the fifth cycle of the Sun, and there were four other great civilizations before them that were destroyed by great natural disasters. They believed that each cycle was just one stage in the collective consciousness of humanity.

In the last cataclysm of the Mayans, the civilization was destroyed by a great flood that left little survivors of which were their descendants. They believed that having known the end of their cycle, mankind would prepare for what is to come in the future and it is because of this that they would have preserved the dominant species; the human race. They say that coming changes will permit us to make a quantum leap forward in the evolution of our consciousness to create a new civilization that would manifest great harmony and compassion to all humankind.

Their first prophecy talks about 'The Time of No-Time', a period of 20 years, which they call a Katún, which is the last 20 years of the Sun's 5,125 year cycle. This cycle is from 1992 - 2012. I'll explain this in greater detail later. They predicted that during these times, solar winds would become more intense and could be seen on the Sun. This would be a time of great realization and great change for mankind, and it would be our own lack of preservation and contamination of the planet that would contribute to these changes. According to the Mayans, these changes would happen so that mankind comprehends how the universe works so we could advance to superior levels, leaving behind superficial materialism and liberating ourselves from suffering.

The Mayans say that seven years after the start of Katún, so 1999, we would enter a time of darkness which would force us to confront our own conduct. The say that this is the time when mankind will enter 'The Sacred Hall of Mirrors', where we will look at ourselves and analyze our behaviors with ourselves, with others, with nature and with the planet in which we live. This will be a time in which all of humanity, by individual conscious decisions, decides to change and eliminate fear and lack of respect from all of our relationships. The Mayans prophesied that the start of this period would be marked by a solar eclipse on August 11, 1999, known to them as 13 Ahau, 8 Cauac. This also would coincide with an unprecedented planetary alignment, the 'Grand Cross' alignment. This would be the beginning of the last 13 years of the Katún period, the last opportunity for our civilization to realize the changes that are coming at the moment of our spiritual regeneration.

For the Mayans, everything is numbers and the time of the 13 sacred numbers started in August 1999. They predicted that along with the eclipse, the forces of nature would act like a catalyst of changes so accelerated and with such magnitude that mankind would be powerless against them. Also, that our technologies in which we rely on so much would begin to fail us. We would no longer be able to learn from our civilization in the way that we are organized as a society. They said that our internal, spiritual development would require a better place along with a better way to interact with more respect and compassion.

The first prophecies were attained by their study of our Sun. The Mayans discovered that the entire solar system moved, and that even our universe has its own cycles, repetitive periods which begin and end like our day and night. These discoveries lead to the understanding that our solar system always rotates on an ellipse that brings our solar system closer and further from the center of the galaxy. In other words, according to the Mayans, our Sun and all of its planets rotate in cycles in relation to the center of the galaxy or Hunab-Kú, the central light of the galaxy. It takes 25,625 years for our solar system to make one cycle on this ellipse. One complete cycle is called a galactic day. The cycle is divided into two halves similar to our day and night. The half closest to the central light, is our solar system's 'day' and the half furthest away is its 'night'. Each day and each night lasts 12,800 years. Which is to say, the central galaxy is the Sun for our entire solar system.

The Mayans discovered that every grand cycle has its minor cycles, that carry the same characteristics. One galactic day of 25,625 years is divided into five cycles of 5,125 years. The first cycle is the galactic morning, when our solar system is just coming out of the darkness to enter the light. The second cycle is the mid-day, when our solar system is closest to the central light. The third cycle is the afternoon, when our solar system begins to come out of the light. The fourth cycle is the late-night, when our solar system has entered its furthest cycle from the central light. The fifth and last cycle is night before dawn, when our solar system is in its last cycle of darkness before starting again. This is the cycle we are currently coming out of.

The Mayan prophecy tells us that in 1999, our solar system began to leave the end of the fifth cycle which started in 3113 B.C., and that we find ourselves in the morning of our galactic day, exiting darkness and on the verge of being in plain day of our central galaxy in 2012. They say that at the beginning and end of these cycles, which is to say, every 5,125 years, the central sun or light of the galaxy emits a ray of light so intense and so brilliant that it illuminates the entire universe. It is from this burst of light that all of the Suns and planets sync. The Mayans compare this burst to the pulse of the universe, beating once every 5,125 years. It is these pulses that mark the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next. Each pulse lasts 20 years, a Katún.

So we come back to what they call 'The Time of No Time'. It is an evolutionary period; short but intense, inside the grand cycles where great changes take place to thrust us into a new age of evolution as individuals and as mankind.

As individuals, we will have to make decisions that will affect us all. If we continue on this negative path of hate, an eye for an eye, destruction of nature, of fear and egoism, we will enter straight into the time of destruction and chaos, and we will disappear as the dominant race of this planet. If we become conscious and realize that we all form part of a great organism, and that we should respect one another and be grateful to our planet, then we will move directly into positive growth, our Golden Age. Our planet, the Sun and the Galaxy are awaiting our decision. It is up to us what will happen in this time of change-- whether we go through a time of suffering and destruction or we find ourselves united in one positive consciousness moving closer to our next stage.

Please notice the events of our planet as evidence that the Mayan prophecies are worth listening to and learning from. Share this information and help us all move toward a better future, where we can thrive in a new era of positivity. It has never been so important.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

    LIGHT ECHOES FROM V838 MON
What caused this outburst of V838 Mon? For reasons unknown, star V838 Mon's outer surface suddenly greatly expanded with the result that it became the brightest star in the entire Milky Way Galaxy in January 2002. Then, just as suddenly, it faded. A stellar flash like this has never been seen before -- supernovas and novas expel matter out into space. Although the V838 Mon flash appears to expel material into space, what is seen in the above image from the Hubble Space Telescope is actually an outwardly moving light echo of the bright flash. In a light echo, light from the flash is reflected by successively more distant rings in the complex array of ambient interstellar dust that already surrounded the star. V838 Mon lies about 20,000 light years away toward the constellation of the unicorn (Monoceros), while the light echo above spans about six light years in diameter.

    [Sally's letter to Gillian]

“Sometimes I feel like there's a hole inside of me, an emptiness that at times seems to burn. I think if you lifted my heart to your ear, you could probably hear the ocean. The moon tonight, there's a circle around it. Sign of trouble not far behind. I have this dream of being whole. Of not going to sleep each night, wanting. But still sometimes, when the wind is warm or the crickets sing... I dream of a love that even time will lie down and be still for. I just want someone to love me. I want to be seen. I don't know. Maybe I had my happiness. I don't want to believe it but, there is no man, Gilly. Only that moon.”

“Can love really travel back in time and heal a broken heart? Was it our joined hands that finally lifted Maria's curse? I'd like to think so. But there are some things I know for certain: always throw spilt salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for luck, and fall in love whenever you can.”

The warrior knows that there are occasional pauses in the struggle. There is no point in forcing things; he must have patience and wait for the two sides to clash again. In the silence of battlefield, he listens to his heart beating. He notices that he is tense, that he is afraid. The warrior takes stock of his life; he makes sure that his sword is sharp, his heart satisfied, that faith still burns in his soul. He knows that maintenance is as important as action. There is always something not quite right. And the warrior takes advantage of those moments when time stops to equip himself better.

Call me crazy, but this is what I think is going to happen in 2012,
the world is no longer going to be ours, i'ts going to be theirs,
and That's why there is only ONE who can save us.
