Up until ex-Eden Maine guitarist Phil joined the band, watching a Mia Hope live show was an unpredictable experience. Anything could and usually did happen as the Berkshire lads tore it up with frightening yet chaotic ferocity. However, with the addition of Phil and new bassist Ryan, the band have turned a corner in their career resulting in a well deserved deal with Rising Records.

Playing their first show in ages, it’s easy to see why Rising Records picked up on the band as they’ve seemingly matured into one of the brightest hopes the British extreme metal scene has. Playing a set made up of almost solely new and untested material, the band sound absolutely devastating as tracks like Eating Out Pandoras Box showcase a newer, cleverer, more complex sound that is far more than the ‘Britain’s Converge’ tag that the band had been landed with. The songs twist and spasm without a word of warning as the band drop from melody-soaked sections to wall-shaking breakdowns to head-wrecking chaos like it’s the norm...
With the album due in 2009, expect these boys to blow the UK scene right open.
