Mia - born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she is the daughter of Sheldon Kirshner, a journalist for The Canadian Jewish News, who was born in a displaced person camp in Germany in 1946. He met her mother, Etti, a Bulgarian Jewish refugee, in Israel. She is a granddaughter of Holocaust survivors.Attended McGill University in Montreal where she studied Russian Literature and 20th century movie industry.

I saw what she did for the refugees. It was inspired with dignity. She fights against the poverty, And,loves everything in harmony. But she also wants to know, How to make the world grows on in a place of peace and humanity. That’s where I found eternity.
My first contact with your work was in 24, I just went shocked with your character "Mandy", she was so misterious, and all her appearances (seasons 1, 2 and 4) were season's highlights for me!
And some time after, I got contact with The L Word. I just llove how you put all your feelings into Jenny, it's so a intense woman, just LOVED the show from the first moment I saw it.
I'm now colleting both 24 and The L Word dvd sets, so in a way I'm making my own Mia Kirshner Collection!
