Mia Legenstein, living in Vienna/Austria, is an eclectic dj, performer & sound-designer. Her focus is on minimal music, art & lifestyle. Her dj-style is mainly based on kick'n'basslines, minimal tunes, deep house or breaks, often leading into strong techno-beats (into whatever is required to keep the party fired). Mia loves french chansons due to a deep connection to french style and music.
As a sounddesigner her work varies interdisciplinary, mainly with literature. Mia's music worked sucessfully for several fashion shows (KM/A, JC hoerl, La Hong, design award 2007 etc). Every spring & fall she appears with live-sounds at the Fashion Week Paris for the designer Edith A'Gay.
With the Austrian actress & artist Tina Nirtl, Mia created the duo "LegéNi". Their work is based on sound-poetry/lautpoesie/poesie sonore and is exhibited in galleries and museums (f. ex. Künstlerhaus Wien). Martin Nußbaum (media-designer) often adds the visual-aspect, together they form the trio "NuLegéNi".

Live: Channel-f (Resolut) Ist das gemeinsame Projekt von Ryan Garcia und Wolfgang Hoffer, benannt nach einer einfachen Spielkonsole aus den 70ern. Im Gegensatz zu dieser besticht das Musikprojekt allerdings durch seine Komplexität in den Soundgefügen und ausgeklügelten Beats. Gegründet wurde Channel-f im Jahr 2006, nachdem Hoffer und Garcia schon einige Jahre auf Solo-Pfaden gewandelt waren. Mit ihrem neuen Projekt wollen die beiden nun endlich das Studio verlassen und von Wien aus die Tanzflächen dieser Welt erobern. Ihr Sound ist inspiriert von Künstlern wie Derrick May, Theo Parrish oder Akufen. The next guest I am inviting the Norwegian DJ Mikkas and the Danish Lars B better known as Djuma Soundsystem. A couple of years ago, in the midst of all the etnic inspired cliche' Ibiza compilations and all the afro-house, Mikkas and Lars B sat down with Their friend Disse and asked themselves this question: is it not possible to make something less cheesy that still works on a floor?
