About me: Miami Clinic Access Project (MCAP) had a purpose: to defend abortion clinics that have been targeted for protest by pro-life organizations. With a core of dedicated activists, and an ever growing group of new clinic defenders, MCAP has been instrumental in defending a woman's right to reproductive choice. I was clinic defender this past Saturday and it was an experience! It was intense but so liberating and empowering to know I was an activist for reproductive justice!
I was at the march for women's lives in 2004 and was inspired by there being over one million people marching in defense of a woman's right to choose. From that inspiration came the dedication to go to A Choice For Women and defend it from the rightist attacks it is facing from the anti-choice and anti-woman demonstrators. Come out and support a woman's right to choose on Saturday mornings!
