All Music for Miasmata written, recorded, and performed by Vince Fletcher, Damon Danner, Jason Littleton, Antidonnie, and Dallas - All lyrics, written, recorded and peformed by Cori -******
Born and raised and died in Monroe Louisiana. Miasmata was made up of Lucas Sardo on Vocals, Darkstar Asylum on Synth, Vinsanity on Guitar, Jason Littleton (low tones) on the Bass, and Antidonnie on Drums. The music, well, I don't know how to describe it. But I do know that we did not go by any rules. We did not write music to cater to any style or what people listened to on the top 40. We just did what we felt was right and what we liked to play / hear. When the band broke up - it was not a bad thing. We did not fight. We did not argue. It was time to move on on everyone's behalf. There were 5 different directions underway, and I dont mean musically. For example - I have the Paraground - which takes up ALOT of time. On top of that - I was ready to move on from the drums. I feel that I want to play guitar and sing. I will let everyone else that was in the band tell their side of what was going on. I dont really want to speak on their behalf. But I will say that it was not a bad brake up. It was very formal. Very mature. But over with.
Members of Miasmata had a long history in Monroe bands previous to Miasmata. To name a few, Cops on Acid,Chamber,Icarian Refuse,Agnosia,Fallstaff,Darkstar Asylum,Fester,Impossible 78, and I'm sure there is more, I just can't think of it right now. I know the band is dead, but I dont feel like the music should never be heard. I feel like it's good enough to let people listen to still.
Chamber - Cops on Acid - Icarian Refuse - Agnosia - Miasmata - Whisky Bayou- and now - Antidonnie
Thanks for your time.****
