Eric	Dec 19 2008 4:54 PM Some of you knew or met Kenny. Some remember him from my days with Mistaken Identity, playing at Judge Beans in Keller or Rascals in Arlington. He was a really great person to be around and always laughed and had a good joke to tell. Those days were filled with music, fun and much power drinking and flirting with the band groupies. For those who did not know him, you missed a great person to know. As I said, he loved music and loved to laugh. There was never a stranger in the crowd. Kenny would talk to anyone and everyone and most times, would have a shot or two with the people at the table. He was also one of the best promoters of the band. He pressed the flesh and spent many of his off hours going to clubs to get our gigs. He was also a shrewd business man. If he felt that the band deserved a raise, he got it. Many a nights I remember him and Al at Judge Beans haggling over our pay and bar tab. On stage, he knew how to read a crowd. As most bands have their set list in front of them, we never did. Kenny would watch the crowd and then call out a song. He always hit the mark. Many of gigs the crowd was always on its feet dancing to our songs. We never questioned his choices nor did we recommend our own opinion of which one to play. Kenny had it covered. Kenny was, and always will be, the heart and soul of Mistaken Identity. Despite all the different members that have came and went, Mistaken Identity was always Kenny's band. He poured all his energy into it and kept it going for over ten years. He made no concessions when it came to the band. It was his way or the highway. I am grateful for the two and a half years I was in the band and sorry I left it. Kenny was inspirational and made playing the music fun and worth while. FAREWELL MY DEAR FRIEND.

I wasn't able to post on your personal space b/c I didn't have access, but I'm guessing where you are, you'll get the message. I'll never forget the days of rocking with Mistaken Identity at clubs all over town and then seeing you one last time with Green Means Go. You rocked like no other and will be missed like no other. My thoughts and prayers go out to your beautiful wife and all of your family for their loss.
