Day One of the 25th Annual Miami International Film Festival kicked off with a press conference with members of the cast and crew of ‘’La Misma Luna (Under the Same Moon)”. Director Patrica Riggen and actors Kate Del Castillo, Adrian Alonso and Eugenio Derbez warmed up to the press by day and heated up the red carpet by night. From the Gusman showing it was off to a fabulous outdoor party at The Plaza at 901 Brickell Avenue which featured cool cocktails, DJ Irie inspired sounds and crowds galore.

MIC MOST......THE LEGACY BEGINS!!!
He found in his early years, that he and music shared a common bond.Even at an early age, it became apparent what his calling was, and that he must carry the torch. Music surrounded Mic Most's entire life. Born in Dayton, Ohio in the year of 1982, the twenty forth day of a cold February, the Moore's immediately moved to Orange County, California 2 months later. Between the ages of 4 and 6, Mic Most's mother was involved in a touring singing group called "The New Supremes". She was able to tour most of Asia (China, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Korea). This is where his passion for the lifestyle first began. In the first grade, Mic Most enrolled in the orchestra and the chorus. Throughout his young life, he developed his talents as a vocal and technical musician. At the age of 12, he took the next step and compiled his first production project. He then formed a hip-hop group called Reality, whereas Mic Most wrote/produced the music, lyrics, and his 2 friends wrote their own lyrics. Mic Most was the only member who remained dedicated to song. His equipment consisted of a karaoke machine, a pair of headphones (used as a microphone), and a Casio keyboard. He still have the original tape, which was cut in 1998. He used to make mixed tapes in which he attempted to use tape to tape mixing and matching up the last beat of the playing track to the first beat of the cued track. This is where Mic Most's interest in DJing came into play, and then developed expediently.

Mic Most does not stay within the limitations of genre. Over the years his music has continued to evolve. He writes about whatever is going on in that time... a portrait the present. Normally, he let's the music itself do the storytelling, though every once in a while he'll have something to say. Mic Most later discovered the vast possibilities of Electronic music through production software. Combining every aspect of music that he is knowledgeable of, or merely respect, he creates a fresh, innovative, cutting-edge sound... a genre in itself. He is now working on several different projects, such as a genre he calls Wet House, remixing, musical scores for film & TV and, where it all started, Hip Hop. Get Live! Music was established by Mic Most in June 1999 as a musical artists' organization, and later joined Sullivan Smith Nation, a cutting-edge apparell line with dreams of erasing the boundaries within different cultures and lifestyles by splicing Action Sports with music of various kinds, art....life.

artists in every medium. Though what seems to be the "public demand",
what seems to be the "popular choice"...seems to be in the most
discord. This project stems from what is lacking in mainstream music.
If it weren't self-titled, it would be titled "The Anti-Pop". I didn't
pour my complete self into this for money, fame, or chart position. I

Myka 9 is known all over the globe as an "underground" Hip-Hop pioneer and icon who helped the world to "freestyle". Myka's artistic expressions led him to co-found the legendary Freestyle Fellowship, his respected presence loomed large at the Good Life Cafe in the early 90's and Project Blowed, which is still going strong today! Myka 9 is a current member of Haiku De Tat and the Magic Heart Genies. He also heads M9 Entertainment.
Myka, originally known as Microphone Mike in the 80's, was a member of the MC Aces with Aceyalone and Spoon Iodine. As one of the members of Freestyle Fellowship, Myka was instrumental in the scene at the Good Life Cafe in the early 90's. As one of the most stylistically advanced rappers at the Good Life, Myka 9 has had a profound influence on L.A. Hip-Hop and freestyle rapping in general. He and the rest of the members of Freestyle Fellowship nearly single-handedly invented the form that Freestyle comprises of today! The world of freestyle rapping would not exist if it weren't for Freestyle Fellowship and Myka 9, no small feat indeed.
