    CPR is bringing ..The breath of Life.. into the rap game. Born April 20, 1988 in Covina, California, Micah Henson was raised in a Christian home. From the day he was born his father would pray that he would one day become a minister and a firm believer in Christ. At the young age of 8 years old Micah was introduced to hip-hop. I was in 2nd grade just chillin with my boys when one of them brought out a boom box, Micah recalls. He started to play a song that I had never heard before, I didn..t know who was rapping but all I knew was that it was the coolest thing I..ve ever heard in my life. And from that moment it was love. It was in 9th grade that Micah was first introduced to Christian hip-hop by a group named grits. .. I mean just hearing Christian hip-hop was amazing to me because I was back sliding with my walk with Christ at the time an knowing that the music I love could be influenced by Christ and make a difference in the world was a shock to me. So I started writing rhymes, flowing and living for Christ only and slowly but surely it was showing... In the summer 2005 CPR linked up with Bless 1 productions. Micah sums it up like this.... When God brought Bless 1 into my life everything clicked; all the things I've been through in my life, the ups and downs, but God has always had his hand on me. I know for a fact that God has called me into ministry in Christian hip-hop music. My dad might have prayed for me to be a minister but in the eyes if this generation I am a minister, the only difference is I'm preaching the Word of God over a beat so this whole world can feel my Christ!!!!!!!

    Boy you better let me know when you have copies of your new CD.... I have many peeps in Phoenix that loved your first cuts and want to hear more. I'll be able to sell quite a few here. Maybe get you into the NPBC book store.. but I will need a few sample copies, then I can represent you here in AZ if you want. But I am telling you I play ball with about 50-100 Christian brothers that love hearing your first cuts when i play them off my i-pod. Plus my son Really liked them so stay in touch and i'll give you all contact info so we can open the AZ market to you.
