Micah Challenge is a global Christian campaign. Our aims are to deepen our engagement with impoverished and marginalised communities; and to challenge international leaders, and leaders of rich and poor countries, to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, and so halve absolute global poverty by 2015!
The Micah Call is a global petition with signatures representing over 1.5 million people telling our leaders to keep their promises to the poor and achieve the millennium development goals. Sign the Micah Call!
Besides the signing the call, other ways to get involved include:
Write a letter to an elected official on a piece of legislation related to MDG's, Check your national campaigns website for details (listed below)

Host a micah event
Incorporate Micah into meetings such as bible studies, church services, or campus meetings to raise awareness on global poverty issues and equip folks with tools to make a difference.

Next Saturday, July 28 the World Vision, Make Poverty History Concert is on in Brisbane!
Come along to the Mt Gravatt Show Grounds (Corner Broadwater & Logan Road, Mt Gravatt), entry to the show $10 for adults, concessions/students over 14 $5.00, Students under 14 $3.00.
The Mt Gravatt Show is on July 28 & 29 the concert will take place in the main arena from 4pm. Arrive early to get a good spot! Gates open to Mt Gravatt Show at 9am, concert starts at 4pm - 10pm with fireworks at 8pm.
Watch Channel 7 this week for the TV Ad! Also watch out in local media for advertisements & interviews! Media will also be present at the concert to write reviews and take photos!

Middle East Fellowship is a Christian nonprofit that sponsors summer service learning projects in the Middle East for peoples of all faiths. We have also signed the Micah Declaration. Currently we have programs in Damascus, Syria and Bethlehem, Palestine. Participants serve the local community, live with host families, study Arabic and meet local community leaders and representatives.
