My name is Micah LaCerte..Fitness is my life.. Im like a walking billboard, I live it , I preach it, I breathe it.. I have a Personal Training/ Life Coaching business here in Kansas City as well as a Online Fitness business that i work with clients worldwide called HITCH FIT(www.hitchfit.com). I am Fitness Model in my spare time as well as a writer for a few different health related magazines. I have been in over 35 national magazines including 2 covers. I am in Feb 2009 edition of Reality and will be in Muscle and Fitness April 2009.. I have been on 3 tv reality shows and done a number of different tv commercials.. I do it for the challenge of getting my body to its top potential.
Through this process i have learned so much. HITCH is a Brand like a alter ego of who Micah is, so dodging critisizm is apart of promoting myself. With all the postive and inspiring feedback I also get in return the people that still think this is a selfish act and continue to hate. No Im not stuck on myself, business is business. At heart im a big dork who watches fraggle rock and still gets excited after watching Karate Kid (put him in a bodybag Johnny) I work hard, love what i do and focus on staying positive. My passion and drive is Helping people find themselves again. There is no better feeling in the world then seeing a indivdual on day one, they are insecure, out of hape, unhappy then 12-16 weeks later that person i saw deep inside is shining. They have turned into a happy, fit, secure individual. No better feeling in the world. I have met a ton of great people though and been able to experience so many fun things.
I have been very blessed with the opportunity to find my true passion in life "helping others" I seriously wake up everyday happy knowing im helping someone become a better person inside and out. Sometimes through my writing or sometimes through one on one stuff im able to reach inside someone and help them.. that is what makes me happy :)
I dont drink at all, dont do drugs, i live a very chill lifestyle.. I dont go to the clubs or bars just not my scene. I like lowkey spots hanging with close friends chatting about life and opportunity.. Im a home body spending tons of time with my beautful girlfrend watching reality tv shows or battling at mario cart on wii.
I have been blessed with some awesome friends in my life. My Family and friends, Nolan, Mo, Tabor, Adam, Shawn, Corri, Knox, Charlie, Will, Nate, Frances, Chill Bill, Candice, Brenda, Kim.. all best friends.. Many of them live in other parts of the country but are like family to me and have been a major reason i am where i am today. I always tell people that you have to surround yourself with others that will keep you positive and love you inside out. If you have people in your life that are negative and pulling you back you have to let go. So again thank you again to everyone.
In 2009 i will be traveling all over. We have big plans with Hitch Fit . A few places where we will be going are Tokyo, London and Dubai. Sometime in 2010 will look into making a move to Hawaii. I live once so might as well wake up to the 2 most beautiful things in the world.. Hawaii and my Girlfriend!!!
