A little about Micah Wilshire: Mixing from a songwriter/producer’s perspective. Being an accomplished songwriter/producer and musician, gives Micah a unique outlook when bringing a mix to life.
With the intent of being a session musician, Micah moved to Nashville at the age of 19. He soon became a full time session vocalist and guitarist -- all the while learning engineering/recording and mixing as he worked.
Ready for a change, Micah and his songwriting/production partner moved to Los Angeles where their major success began as a band (Wilshire)and as songwriter/producers, with their Top 20 Billboard Hit 'Special'.
Since Music City and Los Angeles, Micah is now living, mixing and producing out of the Charlottesville Virginia area at Greeneway Studio.

Hi, it's been awhile since I checked in. Hope you're doing well in all this craziness we call our world. Still trying to sell my real-estate in Texas so I can get back to Virginia where my bandmates and recording studio are. I've got an album to record and no way to get there. If you like our music and would like to hear more, please say a prayer for me to sell my property in this crashing economy. I need a miracle right now.
Here's my comments on politics and the direction of humanity in general. Hope you enjoy. Feel free to pass it on. ~Dan

Hi Micah, here's something you might enjoy. I found something in the archives that I thought had been lost. Our first band recording on fostex 4 track cassette format. It is a power trio instrumental-same members as today, Tommy VanNortwick on drums, Rob Payne on bass, guitar of course is me with some overdubbing. We later added another guitar and keyboards. The band name at the time was 'Elliott Nesskafe and the Unmentionables'. The song was recorded in 1985, and is called P-5 (short for parallel fifth). This was the third part of a three piece fusion suite ( the recordings of the other two apparently didn't survive). Have a listen and let me know what you think.
Hey Thanks Micah! I hope you guys are having a great and safe 4th of July Weekend!
PEACE, JOE
