Who is Micah?

Before I discuss my proffessional life with you I just wanted to share who I am on a more personal level. I was born in Los Angeles CA, but I spent a good part of my childhood in Sweden because I have a Swedish mother. My younger years where I real blessing. We had no money but we had each other and I was safe.

I moved back to Los angeles when I was 18 and at heart I have always been an entreprenuer. I have struggled off and on, but I am proud to say, I am the real deal because I have not had a job since I was 21 years old. It takes something to devote ones life to being self employed, it sometimes gets a little hairy when there is a transition and it is all up to me to make sure somewhere we are making profits.

Things are going great!

The last few months I have experinced that (BIG) breakthrough I think most entrepreneurs are looking for. All the pieces fell into place and life has changed. I am now living the life I felt was written in the stars for me. All the struggle I went through was worth it. And the doubt I sometimes felt, I am glad I stayed the course.

To many offers, stop selling me!

I know, these days everybody is screaming guru or expert on all the social media sites. I have done this, or I have done that etc.  "My first 3 minutes in business I made $1,000". Join here! Or "get my free E-Book, get my free gift".

I am just really filled to the rim with all the offers and yelling from roof-tops about what a great business I could join.

I think it's time for a different approach. A more mature approach. A much softer approach.  It's not filled with all these offers and information about how to make money and what program to join. Everywhere I turn someone is inviting me to another system or company launch. I don't need another system or business I am doing quite fine as it stands.

Quite frankly I think all of it is immature and screams slick sales man all over it.

Why I created my page was to give good solid information on what is going on in the world of working from home using a lap top.

(I know, some people use a desk tops, but the thrill about having a lap top business is you can do that from anywhere in the world. You and your lap top across the globe. :=)

If you are here and you are really trying to make money online, instead of sending me an invite saying your can help me find my way and you have the best opportunity for me, why not take a look at homebasedmogul and look around for a while. Ask yourself, if you could have a better online presence, If what you are doing is building a brand or is it just shouting the next best thing.

My passion lies in building a solid business. A business that is built on a rock solid foundation, that is why when you see my page you can see that I really took some time and effort to create a great look and made a real effort to give good content.

Using social media to set a "mouse trap"

If you are on social media sites and marketing a business, and you talk up a good talk you suggest they should listen to you and then after they take interest the next step you send them to is a lead capture page. It can easily turn people off. It's like saying to them "here is how you do it, get them all juiced up! And get them locked into a mailing list". Lead capture pages are cheap and tacky, they scream scam even if it isn't a scam.

When you are pushing for sales and trying to get over on people, you will struggle...

So if you are still feeling like you are struggling, there is a good reason, chances are you look like everyone else, there is nothing original about you. You talk it up on Myspace, Youtube, Facebook or Twitter, but when it all comes down to it you're just another guy/girl online without an office, trying to get people to listen to you. If am upsetting you, and you think I am being to direct, I appologize, but I am trying to make a point so that your next 6 months will be a breakthrough for you and you can become an online success.

If you are really serious about working from home and you want to do it online, I do want to get to know you. But before you blast me with your MLM or system let me know who you are. What you are about and then lets talk business :=)
