My biggest influence is the person who put the battery in my back to write my first rhyme, my boy C-Handz. Handz and 2Pac run neck and neck as my favorite rappers, but of course in the grand spectrum no one compares to Pac! My only other influences are Banks and Fab, they inspire me to write them crazy punch lines.

At first glance Mic Caine may look like many of the rappers (or wanna be rappers) out there today. Caine is COCKY and CONFIDENT almost to the point of concete and manages to draw attention to himself with out being loud or obnoxoius. He seems to be what most rappers WANT and TRY to be, BUT he doesn't seem to be TRYING at ALL! It comes to him so naturaly that it makes you wonder, UNLESS you know his story......
Mic Caine (born Mustaffa Love in Newark Nj.) was raised by his granthmother in the heart of the city. Child hood was not easy for him growing up, barely knowing his father and watching his mother go to prison twice before he had reached the age of 15, With continuous influence from the streets and his uncles and cousins who were well known and deeply inbeaded in the drug game it became inevitable which course his life would take. Just before turning 15 Mic Caine started hustling and by 16 had been kicked out of school, he was arrested several times between 94 and 97, but in 1998 Love's career as a drug dealer was ended indefinitely when (just 3 days after his 20th birthday) he was arrested by the F.B.I. and charged with conspiracy to posses and distribute 3 kilos of heroin. He was held with out bail and subsequently sentenced to 97 months in Federal Prison and had no idea what his future held.... While in Prison after meeting a very talented and charismatic rapper ( C-Handz) he began writing rhymes about his life and experiences. With a life that would rival a movie script he realized that needn't look any further than his own TRUE experiences for material.... Now Mic Caine is poised and ready to make himself known to the world again, and this time not just the world of crime. His songs and stories range from being humble,humorous,and sensitive, to that of a gangsta with grandiose fantasies are told for more reasons than to brag or boast. He wants to show the world that "With heart, passion, desire, and determination ANYONE can rise from the ashes, and just when you THINK you CAN'T go any further... YOU CAN"! And when asked about his music "Caine" states (humbly with a laugh) " OH THAT.... THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF".....
