The album 'Mice Parade' features lots of wonderful friends; Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab) chimes in beautifully on “Tales of Las Negras," Kristin Anna Valtysdottir (múm, also a touring member of the Mice Parade live band from 2003-2006) lends her incredible grace to “Double Dolphins on the Nickel,” complete with Icelandic verse. Other members of the live lineup appear on tracks like “Sneaky Red” and “Satchelaise”, notably Doug Scharin (Rex, June of 44), Dylan Cristy (Dylan Group), Rob Laakso (Swirlies, Diamond Nights), Jay Israelson (Lansing-Dreiden), and Dan Lippel.

"There are some upon this earth of yours," returned the Spirit, "who lay claim to know us, and who do their deeds of passion, pride, ill-will, hatred, envy, bigotry, and selfishness in our name, who are as strange to us and all out kith and kin, as if they had never lived. Remember that, and charge their doings on themselves, not us." - Dickens
