Arctic Studios is putting together a compilation CD to contribute to the growth of the Midwest music scene: Causing a Scene…Compilation Disc Volume One PURPOSE: To create a stronger music scene in cities across the Midwest that support live original music. This promotion will increase attendance to shows, unite bands, and help lay the ground work for successful regional tours so please pass this information on to your friends in bands. DISTRIBUTION: 2500 Discs will be professionally pressed, packaged, and given to music fans across the Midwest as a freebee at concerts, music stores and guitar shops. Each band will get a sleeve of 50 CDs for personal use and distribution. TARGETED CITIES: 1500 CDs - Twin Cities Metro 200-300 CDs - St. Cloud, Rochester, Mankato, Lacrosse, Duluth 50 CDS per band
COST: $240.00 per band; which covers packaging, postage, marketing, and distribution. DEAD LINE: Bands have until June 14th to submit a quality recording and June 21st to submit payment. Hi, My name is Patrick Callan, I just put out my first full length record-"Tales of a Folk Punk Nothing" on Blanket Statement Records.
It was recorded in the dead of winter 2009 and was released May 8th. I put a lot of heart into it.

well we had two set up for this new music venue, then the owner straight dissapeared off the face of the planet and has not been seen since, one was set up a week before it was schecduled to happen and two of the bands dropped so it got canceled, and another one did because the band we were supposed to open for dropped that leg of the tour haha
