Michael Maze is now one of the most popular house djs in Munich. Since 1999, the 28-year-old rocks the crowd with his beats. It is difficult to reduce his sound on only one of the numerous styles of house music. Deep, Uplifting Vocal House to electro-crunching beats and progressive house move Michael Maze in each of his sets to surprising grooves and melodies. Not infrequently, there are three parallel CDJ 1000-Player running over and over again for new sound creations, beats and acapellas and merge into new tracks. DJing is a passion for Michael, which is nothing to compare with: "If you see the hands of the people in the air, if you hear them screaming, if you come home in the morning after a gig and you still have to smile, then you know that you've done a good job.” Park Cafe, P1, Prinizip Club and Penthaus Club are some of the clubs, in which Michael played as a resident DJ. He already had gigs with DJs like Tom Novy, Kurd Maverick, DJ Gregory, Phats & Small, Syke & Sugarstarr or Laidback Luke. Since 2007 he belongs to the resident DJ Team of the famous house club 8 Seasons in Munich, where he celebrates his own clubnight once a month. 2009 will be another important year for Mr. Maze: at the end of June, the first release “Rollercoaster” feat. vocals from Samantha Powell and produced by his long time fellow Damien J. Carter (CR2 Records) was published. The track is a real club bumper and gets already support from Superstars like Axwell, Eddie Amador, Seb Fontaine, Junior Jack, Disco Boys and many more. Michaels next release with the black pharao himself, Inusa Dawuda (Subliminal Records), seems to be the next floorburner: "Voodoo Dance" will be out in September 2009! Suffice it to say: first tests in the clubs were prosperous and hands were up again ....

Michael Maze ist mittlerweile einer der gefragtesten House-DJs in München. Seit 1999 bringt der 28-jährige mit seinen Beats die Menge zum Rocken. Dabei fällt es schwer, seinen Sound auf nur eine der unzähligen Stilrichtungen der House Music zu reduzieren. Von Deep- über Uplifting Vocalhouse bis hin zu krachenden Electro-Beats und Progressive House wechselt Michael Maze in jedem seiner Sets überraschend Grooves und Melodies. Nicht selten sorgen dabei live drei parallel laufende CDJ 1000-Player immer wieder für neue Soundkreationen, Beats und Acapellas verschmelzen zu neuen Tracks. Das Auflegen ist für Michael eine Leidenschaft, die mit nichts zu vergleichen ist: "Wenn Du die Hände der Leute in der Luft siehst, wenn Du das Schreien hörst, wenn Du in der früh nach deinem Gig nach Hause kommst und immer noch lächelst, dann weisst Du, dass Du einen guten Job gemacht hast". Über Parkcafé, P1, Prinzip und Penthaus Club hat sich Michael Maze, der schon mit DJs wie Tom Novy, Kurd Maverick, DJ Gregory, Phats & Small, Syke & Sugarstarr oder Laidback Luke auflegte, mittlerweile als Resident im 8 Seasons in München etabliert, wo er einmal im Monat seine eigene Clubnacht zelebriert.
2009 soll ein weiteres wichtiges Jahr für den Münchner werden: Ende Juli erschien die erste gemeinsam mit Damien J. Carter und Matt Devereaux produzierte Nummer "Roller Coaster" auf dem Stuttgarter House-Label Housesession Records. Schon jetzt wird der Track von Superstar-DJs wie Axwell, Junior Jack, Eddie Amador oder Seb Fontaine gespielt. Und auch das nächste Release von Michael Maze klingt vielversprechend: Zusammen mit dem "Black Pharao" himself, Inusa Dawuda (Subliminal Records) erscheint im September "Voodoo Dance". Weitere Infos über die Produktion und Remixes folgen bald. Nur so viel sei gesagt: bei den ersten Tests im Club waren die Hände wieder oben....
