Michael Biehn,(born Tuesday, July 31, 1956 in Anniston, Alabama) is an American actor perhaps best known for his roles in The Terminator (1984), Aliens (1986), The Abyss (1989), Tombstone (1993), and The Rock (1996). He also played Officer Randall Buttman on the Emmy-Award winning television series, Hill Street Blues.
Recently, Biehn has taken on more acting jobs, from big budget movies such as The Art of War and Clockstoppers to video games like Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and independent movies, such as Havoc. He also starred in the NBC TV series Hawaii (2004), but the show was subsequently cancelled due to low ratings. An upcoming project - Grindhouse - pairs him with director Quentin Tarantino.
A picture of Biehn as Kyle Reese in the movie The Terminator was reproduced as the cover-art of the 1987 video game Metal Gear.
It is currently rumored that Michael Biehn will play a role in the next James Cameron film Avatar.

Trivia In all three James Cameron films in which Biehn has a major role (not counting Terminator 2: Judgment Day, in which his small part was cut from the theatrical release), his character is bitten on the hand: by Sarah (Linda Hamilton) in The Terminator, by Newt (Carrie Henn) in Aliens, and by Bud (Ed Harris) in The Abyss. It can also be noted that in almost every film he has stared in, he has either been killed off or seriously incapacitated; often towards the very end of the film. Prime examples include:

In Abyss von 1989 (Regie ebenfalls James Cameron) spielt Biehn Lt. Hiram Coffey, der bei der Reise unter Wasser mitmacht. In Navy Seals - Die härteste Elitetruppe der Welt von 1990 spielt Biehn einen Soldaten, der zu den Navy Seals gehört. In dem Film spielt ebenfalls Charlie Sheen mit, der Sohn von Martin Sheen. In The Rock – Fels der Entscheidung von 1996 spielt Biehn ebenfalls als Navy Seal. Im dritten Teil des Spiels C&C aus dem Jahre 1999 spielt Biehn den GDI-Commander Michael McNeil. In der Serie Adventure Inc. (2002 - 2003) spielt er den Der Abenteurer und Entdecker Judson Cross.
