My cover band, Legacy has re-established itself & you can jump to it's page from my friends list if you like. It is a Rock based thing that I do every weekend. I have also started a side project with my former female lead vocalist and will be performing as a duo under the name "Parkside".
I have no current original music band. I have been seeking additional local musicians to complete a recording project & perform my original music live & have discovered, met & re-connected with some really talented players. I will require violin, fretless bass, trumpet, sax & hand percussion. And a big-ass budget to boot.
I compose in several styles, none of which are commercial or trendy current prime time MTV levels of culture. Think Art. Think Music. Just Think....

The music I grew up made the biggest impact overall & had little or no contemporary grounding.
I am a singular musician; a guitarist first & a half assed keyboard player second. These pieces were composed over several years time and represent only a tiny section of the bulk of my work. I plan to "finish" this material by re-recording them with live players & soloists and guitar parts that I am truely satisfied with.
All things here were done at home at a point when I did not own any good stuff, software or had the capability to overdub...These are direct from module to mixer to a DAT deck, with no Noise Reduction, BBE, Aphex, additional EQ or Compression, Reverb or outboard of any kind. All dynamics are part of the Midi sequence...Primitive & 1 shot home spun.
The "band" ensemble things are meant to be rough drafts for conveying my ideas to other musicians. The arrangments are not set in stone nor themes or any specific melodic idea some granite, creative gem. They are, I hope, a place to start.
I would like to release a group of CDs, each one in a different style I like to work in. God knows, I have enough material.
