Coming from an artistic background, I started studying musical theory (solfege) and violin (in a Musical School) at the age of 6.
Then aged of 12, I took another direction and learned Keyboard and Jazz.
In 1997, I met Claude MARTY with who I played in lots of concerts and recorded 2 albums LIVE (in which I also arranged the songs).
In 2003, I met Greg BONDO (drummer of Lokua KANZA). I became the keyboard player of his group. From there, I joined the group AFRICAN SOUKOUSS of Buffalo KAWONGOLO and Iplayed in many concerts, festivals and on tours by the side of musicians accompanying Youssou N'DOUR, Manu DIBANGO, Laurent VOULZY, Mory KANTE and Bernard LAVILLIERS .
In 2005, the group changed name to SAKAWEY and recorded the album TOBELELA.
In 2007, I became the artistic director of a Rock Opera called "Agapanthe", written by Claude MARTY.
I composed a few titles of this musical fresco.
Since 1999, I have assured the musical part of the Theatrical Improvisation Matches (France, Italy, Quebec, Canada, France Championships...)
Issu du milieu artistique, je débute la musique à l’âge de 6 ans en étudiant le solfège et le violon ( Ecole de musique)

En 2003, je fais la connaissance de Greg BONDO (Batteur de Lokua KANZA). Je deviens le clavier de son groupe. Suite à cette rencontre, j'intègre le groupe AFRICAN SOUKOUSS de Buffalo KAWONGOLO dont l'ingénieur du son n'est autre que Lee « Scratch » PERRY(Bob MARLEY, Jimmy CLIFF).
J'y joue aux cotés de musiciens accompagnant Youssou N'DOUR, Manu DIBANGO, Laurent VOULZY, Mory KANTE, Bernard LAVILLIERS... lors de nombreux concerts , tournées et festivals.
Le groupe change de nom en 2005, devient SAKAWEY et enregistre l' album TOBELELA.
En 2007, je deviens l'arrangeur et le directeur artistique d'un Opéra Rock intitulé » Agapanthe », écrit par Claude MARTY. Je compose quelques titres de cette fresque musicale.
Depuis 1999, j'assure la partie musicale des Matchs d'improvisation théâtrale (Rennes, Poitiers, Angers, Paris, Championnats de France, Québec, Italie ...)

Adviruz is the artist pseudonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
