With a bright acoustic and a smooth personal voice...Michael Crissan began his musical career in Syracuse, New York. In the 20+ years he has performed, he has become a highlight of the Central New York music scene.
A solo act, Michael performs his own original material and chooses to cover a variety of styles and songs from the likes of Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, and Maroon 5, to U2, and Pearl Jam, with some Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan thrown in for good measure. This along with years of playing to diverse crowds has given Michael a sharp ability to read an audiance and an easy command of a wide range of music.
Combine this with his inviting, yet unassuming presence, guarentees Michael is well received in every room he plays.
In the 90's Michael's original releases were met with an enthusiastic reception and fantanstic reviews all throughout the Northeast as he performed at clubs and colleges. In 2000, Michael extended his performances throughout the East Coast to the Florida Keys, where he has caught on quickly,although he still returns to New York on a regular basis to perform for his loyal fans.
Michael has also
entertained at several engagements in England where where he has again been well received and is invited to return annually. Recently Michael Has moved to Orlando Florida and is currently performing on a regular basis on the club scene at Cricketers Arms, House of Blues, Kitty O'Shea's, Casey's,Margarittaville, and more, as well as The Beachside Tavern and Merks Pub in New Smyrna Beach on the east coast.
Michael is a true professional with an outstanding talent and presence, his fan base both in Central/Upstate New York and Florida speak for themselves.

Hi Michael! I was in FL last week. LOVED that weather. Forgot what hot sun felt like! Too bad Orlando is so far from Captiva. It would have been fun to see you. I can definately picture you playing there...a few good places with live music. Next year.
