Started playing guitar at age 8 back in 1965 on a hand me down nylon string that my uncle gave me along with my first lessons which lead me into the 70's when I really got hooked on all the singer song writer/performers that sang about everyday ups & downs of the times, My adventurous spirit then took me into rock & roll playing electric guitars and dabbling in other instruments such as harmonica, percussion/drums,bass guitar, some keys, mandolin etc. Started playing in bands and performed my first time with a band called TIME at a place in Philly called The Sly Fox at age 16 ( that was a rough nite) since then through out the years I've performed with groups up & down the east coast--to name a few, Wizard, Chime, JEM & The Riverside Trio and prior to the trio forming I was in THE RIVERSIDE BAND. In 1990 I opened up three music stores called MICHAEL'S MUSIC and ran them for approx. ten years, and thru the stores I was fortunate enough to meet and jam with a lot of musicians. To name a few: John Denver, Charlie Daniels, Nickolet Larson, Richy Havens, The Blues Travelers, Arlo Guthrie, Cathy Mattea and many more. Needless to say that sparked even a deeper love for music and musicians, dealing with them day in and day out for ten years. I have decided to re-invest my efforts into my roots of the singer / songwriter format where I realized that's where my heart is and what I do best. I've been writing songs just about my whole life and a lot of them were previously recorded on cassett format years ago on a demo level so I wouldn't forget them, hopeing someday I would get the chance to record them professionally, Well I finally broke down and Invested some bucks in a digital studio system, And even though there still not as good as they would be if they were done in a multi-million dollar studio, there a lot better then they were. The material you hear on this site is a collection of songs written over the past few decades that I finally got a chance to put on disc, give a listen and reply on what you think---Thanks, Michael---COPYRIGHT 2009-ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time. ~Laura Ingalls Wilder
Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake...
Have a great weekend! Much love Your friend always Uli
