Michael Gabriel trained and performed as a classical singer in Vancouver.
He has been the lead singer in original bands in both Canada and The United States.
When he released 2 solo EPs, he toured with his classical guitar across Canada and played throughout Southern Ontario.
For the 2007 National Tour he traveled for 8 months from the Atlantic to the Pacific coast and many places in-between. Visit the

For the tour, he has been performing solo (classical guitar and vocals) performing songs from the debut full-length album:
The Certainty of Change and showcasing new material. Michael dedicated part of his tour to
spreading awareness of children in developing countries.
Toward the end of the 2007 National Tour (while on the road), he recorded a new album: ‘In This Together’ (
Multimedia). The 12 song album was recorded with classical guitar and vocals. With the start of 2008, he performed live for a few months promoting the new CD and the debut album.
In March, an opportunity came up to work with
Lakeshore Records on an EP. Michael recorded a total of 4 songs @ Tiger Mountain Studios in Los Angeles. The EP was named: ‘Southern California Sessions’. A music video was made for the single - ‘Angel Wings’. Several live solo performance videos were also recorded and released.
For 2009, Michael has been focussing on both radio play for ‘Angel Wings’ and live performances in Southern Ontario, Canada. With the release of the single, many radio stations have already begun playing the track. The official online release date for ‘Southern California Sessions’ is set for May 26, 2009 with several web distributors.
Currently, Michael performs solo and with an ensemble in Southern Ontario. Interviews with radio stations continue to be scheduled to promote the single and the upcoming EP.
