Having a father who is a jazz musician and a mother who favors classical music, I have always been fascinated by many styles of music myself, from progressive rock to jazz fusion to the finest baroque styles. As a result, my compositions tend to unabashedly fuse several musical genres in a purposeful playfulness: Purposeful, because of my strategic attention to technique and song structure, and playful because I enjoy blending musical notes in non-traditional and unexpected ways. The results are sometimes surprising even to me, as I really don’t know what my finished product will sound like until I hear it. But one thing is for sure – I always have fun creating, arranging, and sculpting music.
To have my music played and enjoyed by others for many years would justify all the hard work and many hours I spent creating it.
