Michael J. Media's Blurbs |
About me:
Mike Farley started the Michael J. Media Group in 2002, after achieving regional success in Northeast, Ohio, and decided to put his networking and publicity skills to good use by starting up the Michael J. Media Group to help other bands, artists, and other businesses achieve maximum exposure regionally and nationally. Now living in Nashville, MJM boasts a roster of over 20 clients. Current and former clients include The Kentucky Headhunters, Michael Tolcher, Flyleaf, Pat McGee Band, Everfine Records, LUCE, Kate Voegele, Illbreak, and Sublime tribute band Badfish.
The Mike Farley Band released four independent albums and was voted Best Rock Band by the Cleveland Free Times two years in a row. Mike and his band opened for such artists as Dave Matthews, Tori Amos, Edwin McCain and the Pretenders. His songs have been placed on ABC-TV's All My Children, as well as in MTV's Undressed and ESPN's X-Games. In addition, the Houston Astros baseball team licensed Mike's song "Play Ball" for their team video, which was shown in Minute Maid Park for every home game in 2003.
