Known to his friends as simply "Kleban," Michael D. Kleban got his start in tenth grade as lead guitar player for Atlanta local band Travelli. Michael started singing and writing his own material upon entering college. His acoustic sound differs from the grungy alternative riffs he played in his highschool group; however, his vocal quality and style reflects the influences of fellow musicians from back home. Michael's instrumental style combines the grungy acoustic power and raw melodic leads of Days of the New with the jazzy rhythms of Incubus. Recently, he recorded a three song album produced by Joshua Golden (www.myspace.com/goldentheband) which features the songs Beast Incarnate, Wasted, and Dead Beat. Michael hopes to carry his sound throughout downtown Athens, and maybe even beyond.
