“Wings of Freedom” is posted on Neil Young's Living With War web site and is a free download from the track listing above. If you like Wings, please vote for it by clicking here. It is an important song for our time and I hope that you take the opportunity to listen to it. I wrote "Wings" as a tribute to those rare individuals who possess the courage to rise above their fear and inspire others to organize against oppression and human rights abuses. Sadly, oppression and domination by one group, or individual, over another, has been part of human society since the origin of our species. An effective tool used by the oppressors is fear, more specifically, the creation of fear in the oppressed group. Once fear is internalized by the oppressed group, the hope of rebellion, and for a free life, is greatly diminished.
Of course, rebellion does not equate with peace, and the establishment of human rights is at best tenuous over time. The long term solution centers on respecting the dignity of all life.

“Painted Dreams”, posted here from time to time, is a song about coping with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD is a hidden, psychological injury sustained by many soldiers and civilians involved in war. Haunted by uncontrollable flashbacks, while awake or asleep, these individuals are vividly reminded of the horrors that they experienced. Accompanied by emotional detachment and highly reactive responses to everyday events (hyperactive startle reflex), normal functioning is difficult to achieve without medical help and counseling. Hi Michael
thank you very much for the add. I like your song that I first heard from Neil's Living With War site.
Greetings from Italy
Peace and Freedom (wishing they will come back one day)
Great New Song Michael... I miss a friend too, he left this planet a while a go... Great guitars and the voice completes the special aura on that song. Sweet!
