Michael Larson was born in 1977 and is a worship leader and songwriter with ION Records. He is also currently a part of the worship community at First Assembly Church in Calgary, Alberta where he serves on the pastoral team. The love of gospel music was infused in his heart at a very young age by his parents, and grand-parents, who were involved in music in some shape or form. The author of the song "Freedom Reigns" continues to travel internationally as a worship leader and advocate for the child sponsorship organization "Compassion."
