Music
I like cleverly written pop-rock songs about transportation, obscure American towns and lonely office workers. So I obviously think FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE is the best band in the world and ADAM SCHLESINGER and CHRIS COLLINGWOOD make up the best songwriting duo in musical history. BARENAKED LADIES is my second favourite band. Great vocals from not one but two lead singers, and they're also left of centre Leaf fans. I also listen to many obscure bands, many linked to those above and some with hilarious names, like IVY, The Vanity Project, Mike Viola And The Candy Butchers, The Astrojet, The Sounds and THE GAY POTATOES. Other artists I like include Five For Fighting, Beck, Ben Folds, The Shins, Coldplay, Jimi Hendrix, Colin Hay, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Zutons, Bowling For Soup and a lot more. Me, Al and Tom are also a guitar based trio called THREE MEN WHO, WHEN STANDING SIDE BY SIDE, HAVE A WINGSPAN OF OVER TWELVE FEET - soon to rehearse and record!

My favourite films are The Shawshank Redemption, Blazing Saddles, Slapshot, Anchorman (provides an endless amount of quotes), Happy Gilmore, The Godfather, Austin Powers: Goldmember, Dumb And Dumber, Garden State, and Airplane!.
Television
POLICE SQUAD (In Color) is the best ever TV show and Leslie Nielsen is a comic genius. Second is DUE SOUTH, with brilliant acting and quotes like, "My father once told me a man with no future will always run to his past." I also love Look Around You, Futurama, Scrubs, Without a Trace, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Mighty Boosh, Flight Of The Conchords and Life On Mars.

I am 17 and from Sheffield in England. I'm a single college student and go to Peaks College where I study A2 English Language, History and Law, and sleep in AS Critical Thinking. I pimp it up with Tom, Al and our many disciples, and every Monday maintain the Halo-Subway tradition. I love sports but mostly ice hockey ; I play for the Sheffield Scorpions, on the A line, baby! My other passion is music, Fountains Of Wayne is the greatest band to ever walk the earth and Barenaked Ladies is a close second.
