Michael McDonald was born and raised in Orange County, California. He graduated from USC with a degree in business, but went into comedy instead. After getting his start on stage at the Groundling Theater in Los Angeles, McDonald booked small parts in film and television, and eventually was hired to work on Mad TV, where he spent ten years as a cast member. He currently divides his time between writing, directing, and acting on various film and television projects, as well as performing live on stage across the country.

A joyous 'July' to you Michael~ I see you are (only 4hrs away) in Atlanta. But unfortunately, I can not travel that distance at this time. I will just sit home and watch an 'old' rerun of 'Mad TV'(Did that make you smile? I hope so!) You make (us) smile all the time! May you have lots of fun on your travels.
