In my studio it's just me, playing all instruments and doing the programming. Thanks to Steve Burns of Burnsville for doing dobro parts on Big Meow.
Live, I do vocals, keyboards, guitar; and John Simons plays bass; Salvatore Folisi on drums and percussion - they're both excellent.

Do You Need Keyboards For Your Recording? Tracks By Mail!!
I have a small studio, and if you need a keyboard track I can record it for you on my system, export the WAV file to CD, and send it back to you, at which point you will be able to incorporate the track into your mix.
So message me here at myspace, and we can talk about the details. Thanks

There must be a bottle of Jameson just out of frame somewhere!
Sounds Like
Ambient, grating, lyrical wanderlust, southern-gothic, left-coast-raucous, riding around the beach on a bike with low air while drinking malbec from long-stemmed Waterford with bouzouki blaring from an old Walkman cassette player, arguing with God and Godzilla, to no avail.
Bios! Whew, a tough chore. Part of me says, "Who cares?" The other part says, "Well, maybe a curious person."
Okay, I can speak about myself in first-person – which feels extremely awkward; or I can fake it and write in third-person (as if I weren’t even here!), and try not to feel too schizophrenic. Or I could just let friends write it! But I can only imagine what sort of perverse, odd-duck persona would emerge from
their brain-addled recollections . . . a truly terrifying thing to contemplate.
Ah, well. Such is life. I shall forge ahead.
I’m from the south. North Carolina, to be exact; then hauled up to Maryland at a young age, where I grew up in the boonies near the PA line, on a small farm surrounded by rolling hills of pasture and corn fields and forest; ruled lovingly by parents - both teachers - who believed their sons would grow up to be more useful and responsible citizens if their formative years were spent shoveling horseshit out of stalls, splitting fire wood, collecting buckets of blackberries and mending fences, rather than spending puberty in the wastelands of the soulless burbs – i.e. setting fire to the toilet paper in mall bathrooms; looting the shelves of neighborhood 7-11s; or learning how to be bored, to keep up with the Jones, and to become a good, avaricious capitalist. Boy, were
they wrong! Though I did not, in fact, become a capitalist, nor learn boredom.
