Michael is the lead vocalist Dead Babies a tribute to Alice Cooper,and lead singer for classic rockers Tequila Rose
Michael also does national anthems and private events all over the central valley of California,performing songs in a Vegas style show by artists such as Elvis Presley, The Platters, Rod Stewart,The Beatles,Simon and Garfunkel and many others.
Singer & Songwriter Michael Nagy grew up in the SF East Bay Area close to the home of many artists including; Creedence,Tower of Power,Norton Buffalo,Sly Stone, YnT and Pablo Cruise.His grandfather was a vaudeville musician who performed in the midwest.Michael also lived in Arcata a small city among the redwoods in Humboldt County on the north coast of California.
Michael and his three younger brothers had a local hit song that was played on rock radio station KXGO in Arcata called "You know I'll be there" under the name "Girl Patrol". Other various projects in Los Angeles include; Ambre Rose, Blue Zoo (produced by Carmine Appice) and an L.A. version of" The White" with bassist Tony Franklin (The Firm) appearing as a guest on occasion.
One of Michaels great friends and mentors was singer/performer Carl Anderson who was Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and had a top hit in 1986,a duet with Gloria Loring called "Friends and Lovers". They peformed together on the same stage at a show in L.A. called "The State Of Mind" on July 4th 1998, along with bassist Billy Sheehan.
Michael is also the vocalist on an album called "Electric Wasteland" by the group "November 67" (cdbaby.com)
He has recently made some Fresno appearances with Frank Hannon (Tesla) and has performed with members of War,Tower of Power,Cold Blood and Malo. Michaels daughter Brandy Rose is also a vocalist and has recently made appearances in Northern California and Disneyland.Michael and Brandy have recently written and recorded a song called Wings of Love.......
