Simply put, Michael Paige is the new voice of romance.
Singing in four languages, Paige’s appeal is universal, cutting across geographic and generational boundaries. He sings and writes a wide range of music — love songs, dance music, current hits and standards with deep passion that gives life to the lyrics.
Born in New York to parents who, he remembers, “always sang” to Paige and his three siblings. He began to study piano and as a child he played in the New York Children’s Orchestra. He was singing in his high school choir when “it hit me one day. I suddenly realized that I wanted to make my life in music. He began to work immediately and studied at the prestigious Mannes College of Music.
“I performed at The Piano Bar in New York City. I was underage, but no one realized that,” Paige says.
He came to Las Vegas for a gig and stayed, enrolling in the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in music. Now working on a Master’s degree, Paige works steadily.
He cites as influences the Beatles, Sinatra, Celia Cruz, Edith Piaf and Charles Aznavour. The composers he favors include Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Leonard Bernstein, Ravel and the Gershwins. He names Love Is Here To Stay as his favorite song.
“My taste is eclectic and I am always a student. When I hear something I like, I do research about the composer. There’s something in the music I like best that draws me to learn about the person who composed it.”
With an album of international songs recently released, Paige is now working on a dance music CD.
“Music is a big part of who I am and the music I perform reflects my life,” he says. “It is such a pleasure to sing and to watch the audience respond. It’s what I love to do and I feel deeply blessed that I can do it.”

Happy 4th of July Michael. It's a very Happy 4th for me. I am in my new home have been sense tuesday. Settling in now getting things together and hung around the house. During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No" said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"

Hello Michael, I am so excited about the new property.I have to go to closing table July 1st at 10:30am. Right now I am getting odds and the ends packed here at this house. I did a smart move. The rental property well the rental on it is 1400 a month. Great price for a one bedroom apartment. And its in a excellent location. Not in the city its on the out skirt.And the main house is huge 5 bedrooms. I'm loving it and still can't believe it came when I needed it. Its a long story how all this came about. I'm going to have to sometime share the story about it. Just say this much. I have angels looking over me.. Anyway Michael may the angels be with you in your travels my friend.
