About me:
Michael Patrick Welch is a redhead who lives in what New Orleans' real-estate agents have begun calling "The Bywater". He is the author of the diary Commonplace and the novel The Donkey Show (equator books), plus a few more books, out some day (see links down below for new excerpts!). MPW served as a staff writer at The St. Petersburg Times in FLA, and as columnist for OffBeat magazine, New Orleans' longest-running music publication.
