There is something real about Michael’s songs which capture a genuine sense of the struggles between love and love lost, between faith and doubt, with something new to discover in each listen.
Michael has completed a Diploma in Performing Arts through ACE (Australian College of Entertainment) and an Advanced Diploma in Songwriting at SCA (School of Creative Arts).
Michael produced his first EP, ‘Beginning the Dream’, in 1998. In 2002 he wrote and recorded ‘Heartbeat of Africa’ after visiting an orphanage in northern Uganda and in 2004 he co-wrote and produced ‘After the Rain’ with Elizabeth Connolly.
Michaels' most recent work, an EP of 6 songs recorded with “The Usual Suspects”, is now available on itunes. The members of “The Usual Suspects”: Andy Worsnop (guitar), Kelvin Dorsey (drums), Becca Roze (flute), Gary Rickets (bass) and Mick Peaker (guitar and vocals) together, bring a fresh dynamic to their blend of rock/folk, twists of country, and songs from the heart.

Hey Michael! You guys were incredible last night! We absolutly loved your music!!! So sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you after your gig - my parents drove us there and they had a time limit on their parking metre :( but we caught 1 1/2 of the 2 sets so we were happy about that :)

Hi just started our 2 week-break for Easter..so it is great to relax! Got all depressed today as I went to look at a new stereo system ....my cd player is sick on and off...well I don't think I can afford $6000 at the moment for a real good system..the Yamaha A2000...so i will just get the run of the mill packages off Harvey Norman or something like that....forget the real connaisseur sound system....sigh... (mind you the one I have now was a great one from them -Akai) Oh got the new Bob Evans album today- not bad!
