Michael the mudcat writes, plays and sings Blues-Rock music in an authentic and honest style. Currently a Co-founder and leader of the Collin County Songwriters Association in North Texas, Michael has a rich musical past that has crossed paths with the likes of his contemporary and fellow Oak Cliff native, Stevie Ray Vaughn.
He previsouly sang and played in New Orleans with New Orleans legend Wayne Folse in the Blue Rockers, at venues such as Tipitina's and many of the famous local festivals.
Mr. Reames sings, and plays guitar and blues harmonica. All songs written by Reames/ Folse. "Too Late" the latest song added is sung by the Mudcats partner from New Orleans, Wayne (Gator)Folse.WE are in the studio at present putting the final touches on some songs that we hope to include in our next offering.In the meantime, we hope you enjoy our songs and write us to tell us what you like or dislike about any of our material.

The name of the new act is Gator, Mudcat and all Dat! The album "Back in the Game" will be released in Jan., it was our managers decision. We are in hopes to put together a support tour and come and visit our friends.

Hey Michael~! How are you? I am ashamed to say I ate so much chocolate over Halloween I don't know if I will ever want any again..and you have to understand , I LOVE chocolate, lol. Yep, I will be doing time on the treadmill this week for sure! Things are going good, still getting ready to move, lots of extra work coming in (it's that time of year for me) I have found that I can do lots of things I haven't done before, refinishing cabinets, painting houses, lol. I am really enjoying it, but keeping me really busy. Anyway...just wanted to come by and say hello, wish you a great week in case I don't get back in space for a bit...take care of you!
