I am Michael Ricketts, the lead singer and rythm guitarist of The New Governors. I love music, snowboarding, English pubs and the forest. If you had a pub in the middle of the forest with great music on, good beer and a halfpipe out the back, I would be in heaven!
I get frustrated by the radio 1 playlist, traffic lights, the need for money, our obsession with time, the saying...'well that's life', health and safety, team building, False enthusiasm, misplaced loyalty, people who explain what they don't undrstand, anarchists with no solution and so much more.............This frustration is released in my music and I try to keep it there.
