About me: infected by the idea of makin radioshows at the age of 6 already , i am now doin the "soulpatrol/soulsearching radioshows" in its 10th year. diggin, selecting , presenting the good music for you. besides djing and doing parties since ages (LAZY. & Cosmic Funk frankfurt) and also writing about music in magazines like Jazzthing and Groove, and producing, remixing under the name soulpatrol , together with Max Schneider, this is exactly what i wanted to do.
receiving positive feedback from around the world keeps me going. jazz is the teacher , soul is the preacher. its all about music. and family.

Originally clocking in at over 14 minutes, its been chopped virtually in half to add more punch and immediacy, whilst on the flip Guynamite and label boss Nik Weston add a more contemporary boogie house twist to the original, in doing so losing none of the vitality or the 'Fela' essence.

Meine Fresse, die trauen sich was! Tastengott Carsten "Erobique" Meyer ist neben DJ Koze und Cosmic DJ ein Drittel von International Pony. Schlagzeuger Matthias "Tex" Strzoda hat von Bernd Begemann über Andreas Dorau, The Go-Betweens zu Rocko Schamoni, Studio Braun und Frank Spilker schon für alles von Rang und Namen getrommelt und ist als Californiae verantwortlich für einen meiner Lieblingsfrühstückssongs ("Ne Tasse Kaffee"). Diese zwei Hamburger gehen jetzt gemeinsam auf Tour und spielen ohne Proben stundenlange Jams, von der schwofigen Nummer bis zu Techno. Live, improvisiert, ohne doppelten Boden. Da bleibt der Groove nicht nur im Herz, nein, er sagt freundlich "Hallo!" Humor ist übrigens, wenn man trotzdem tanzt. Und wer könnte da besser Scheiben dazu kreisen lassen als unser Mann Psycho-Jones?
