I hail originally from Chicago, where I studied composition and orchestration with William Russo at Columbia College. I moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to study film scoring at the University of Southern California's Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television advanced degree program. Following graduation, I opened my project studio in northern Los Angeles and have been working as a film composer mostly in horror, thrillers and dramas, though I am also experienced in comedy and game scoring.
I have 10 features under my belt, including "Wolfhound" for producer Roger Corman, and "Magus" for director John Lechago. In addition, I have scored over 35 short subjects, including the SIGGRAPH Best Animated Short, "Values" directed by Van Phan, and the 2003 Shriekfest Best Horror Short, "Black Gulch" directed by Michael Strode.
