Some of my favorite artists over the years: John Frusciante, Robert Ashley, The Beach Boys, Terry Riley, Martin Denny, Citizen Cope, The Talking Heads, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Pink Floyd, Philip Glass, Tom Johnson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zepplin, Jefferson Airplane, Steve Reich, Bang on a Can, Alvin Lucier, Radiohead, Mother Mallards', Conlon Nancarrow, Pearl Jam, Bach, The Velvet Underground, The Beatles, Robert Monroe, Nisargadatta Maharaj, and Joss Whedon. However, for almost a year, I haven't listened to any previous music, and I only listen to new music once... Long enough to appreciate, but not to be influenced by. My work has greatly improved because of it.
Mike only turned into a music generator after graduating college. Since then, he has been composing, recording, producing, mixing, mastering, artifying, and distributing music all by his lonesome.
His art spans many genres, including experimental, classical, rock, ambient, electronic, rap, and folk, though in all cases, it really goes beyond any of them.
Mike believes in music for music's sake and follows no instinct but his own. No amount of money, power, or fame would be worth sacrificing his vision for, though all of those things would be icing in the maximum.
yes, it has been quite the time lapse, and by no means am i trying to breech that time, however i came across some rather "interesting" information of one, "grant cucci" you may or may not be delighted to hear of. it is well, dare say, hysterical!
