Michael once shared with regard to life, that "he sees too much". He now realizes, through his songwriting and singing, that this is a blessing and not a curse. When he writes a song he takes in all of life. Like an artist painting a picture, he feels, sees, hears and captivates his life experiences into a work that becomes an expression of who he is. Born in Florida, raised in Pennsylvania, he incorporates national and global networking and intructional disciplines in music within it's artistic community. Michael began seriously pursing the craft and business of songwriting through NSAI over five years ago, after attending a Jason Blume workshop. He has learned it takes strong determination, endurance and a professional mindset to be a great writer. On the cutting edge of multiple genres, Michael seeks to write that which influences, moves and impacts the heart of the listener. He is presently developing a complete artist business plan and establishing a global music publishing company. *Personal Note: Thank you for visiting my page.
If you have a chance, leave a comment or become a friend in music. Best wishes in your artistic pursuits. We can make the world a better place, through music and all of its expressions.
Michael
hey. good here. we are in the midst of selling our house and buying a farm in utica. so, we are super busy showing this place. nothing concrete yet.....but we are praying that it sells relatively quickly. I've been playing weekly in church. Thats pretty much it for guitar work. I enjoy the heck out of it.....I look forward to working with you again. that was alot of fun. If you have anything for me, let me know....
Michael - thank you for you kind comment! Glad you enjoyed the YouTube promo. As for jazz LP, my music just isn't jazzy enough, it lands more in the "soulful pop" (for the lack of a better word) genre. Check out "Complete" on my profile, for example.
Listened to "Glory" - very nice! Let me know if you ever need a fresh voice for your demos/projects (I have an overdub setup at home that I do a lot of session work from), lead or BGV. Cheers!
Michael thanks so much for your kind comment on my bulletin! I am just a very small part of Forget Me Not but it is really gratifying to do some small thing towards alleviating the suffering of Alzheimer's. If you get a chance check out www.myspace.com/eamonomaonaigh Eamon is the mastermind behind the projectand a really amazing writer/singer. And speaking of that--I am so enjoying YOUR songs, Give N Take Life and The Glory of the Games!!! Thanks for sharing your talents here!
Hey Michael, Nice to hear from ya !! The writing is going really well thanks !! Yes I am a member of both NSAI and SONGU... I am heading over to Nasvhille around March time next year to coinicide with Tin Pan sth. I am very very excited.
I see you are a Stephen Curtis Chapman admirer...He used to play in Marks band back at Anderson University when they were in College together...he's a great guy I hear...terrible tragedy he went through...
Thanks for the nice comment with your request! Glad you've enjoyed some of my classes. And thanks for finding me here in MySpace-land. :-)
Your profile says "Pittsburgh/Nashville." Do you live in both places? I'm originally from Pittsburgh...although I don't remember living there at the time. But we returned to the North Hills when I was 7 for about a year and a half. And my folks returned to McMurray for several years right before they retired to Arizona. Anyway, Pittsburgh has special meaning for me. :-)
