Michael Siegwarth How do you feel about todays music scene?
A.I have lots of opinions.......people still like seeing live music, thankfully, but places to play for young bands are few and far between. As a result, bands are getting less time to perfect their craft, and tend to give up if they don't get signed by a record company. The internet has totally changed the dynamics of recording, too. On the plus side, bands can easily advertise themselves and publish their own music online, as well as having a vibrant business card in multimedia. Although sometimes the address is inscrutable like http://www.sonicbids.com/epk/epk.aspx?epk_id=167325 , which is for Kev's band at sonicbids. I always thank the audiences, using a microphone if they let me near one, for supporting live music.
Hey Cristina, how do you feel about todays music scene? Thanks for your music, happy new year and greetings from Germany by Michael Siegwarth
*I feel frustrated when I see so many bands on tv sounding exactly the same, looking exactly the same, with the same haircut. Not that you have to create something new but at least not to be just like another band, on purpose.
first of all, thanks so much for recording the new record. It makes so much fun and the record is a big inspiration for me.

I think it's tough to sell records nowadays but i think there is a lot of great music out there. Just get out there & write some great songs and keep rock and roll going.
