Mr. Mike... I will never forget you and the 5th Avenue Band. Back in 1978 you and the boys were the first musicians I ever looked up to when I was cutting my teeth, and I learned how to be professional from you. There was so much you did singlehandedly - better than many who had both. When I was going through hard times and I'd go bike riding in Hopkins with you... It took a guy who had suffered like you to know just how help a buddy when he was down. Greatheart! I'll miss you forever man.
Wow, your family did the coolest memorial party for you yesterday...Your son Miles is beautiful, man!!! No wonder you talked about him so much...Everybody was crying off and on, telling stories about you, there was cats you played with there, gathered talking in the back, lots of flowers, it was really nice!!!

I just received the sad news from Dan Schwalbe that Michael passed away this morning. To his family and all his friends, I send condolences from ep atelier's music and neighborhood community.
