Hi, Michael, it's been awhile. Hope things are going well for you. If you're in Austin Friday night, stop by Club 115. We're doing a show there at 10p.m.
I just very nearly caught you online...not sure if you're still in Mexico. If you're around, Gordy and I are doing a songswap at Flips this evening at 9pm. Of course, we'd love to see you.

Michael, listening to "Time to Go Home" and "Crooked Boothell Drive" this morning made me realize how long it's been since I've seen you and listened to your songs. Wherever you are, keep at it. Hope our paths cross soon--doing a song swap again sometime'd be fun--Doctor G
Even if you leave this comment on your page for a few days we will draw massive attention to this!
The Loft venue in Cambridge may lose it's independence, turning it into another corporate chain venue.
A team of volunteers have worked tirelessly for 6months building the reputation of this venue, only for a large music chain to want to take it over.
This represents everything bad that is happening in the music industry today, one that obviously seeks money over music. One that rarely invests in new music and diversity.
We can't fight this alone, we're trying to show the strength of feeling against this take over and raise awareness of the DIY music culture which is thriving.
Help us!
Even if you've never been to the Loft but know of a similar venue in your own town and city that is independently run welcoming any band or artist regardless of their audience size!
Please read our petition, if you agree and would like to add your support then please sign and leave a comment. We need help from all you artists who believe music should be kept out of the hands of the large corporations!
For anyone else who loves discovering new music.
If you would be happy to put this banner on your own myspace to help us spread the word, simply follow the instructions on our myspace page
Thankyou
