I've watched Steve Yzerman play hockey my whole life. July 3 he made the decision to hang up his skates and retire. His inspiration, leadership and skill will be missed. He's a true hockey legend and my hero.
About me: My greatest passions in life are writing, music and hockey! :) I'm 23 years old and graduated in May, 2006 with a BA in journalism from Oakland University. After a two-semester internship with the Oakland Press, I landed my first job as a reporter writing for an automotive newspaper in Warren. I'm now the associate editor for Suburban Lifestyles, a weekly publication that's run by The Oakland Press, and some of my articles will also be appearing in The Oakland Press...so check it out! :)
I have an amazing boyfriend. His name's Michal (pronounced Me-how) who I met at OU in Rock 'n' Roll history class. He's a very talented musician who studied voice, but can play any instrument you put in front of him! We've been together four years now - I love him with all my heart! I also have a wonderful family. I love my mom, dad and younger brother, Dave so much!! As well as my awesome
cousins!
I'm obsessed with hockey and will stay up till the wee hours of the morning to watch Red Wings triple overtime games on the West Coast. :P
I play a little guitar (nothing fancy) and sing (sort of) :P The best part is recording original music with my boyfriend.

He was born there and I'm
half Polish. I'm very proud
of my Polish heritage. It's a
beautiful country with so much
history and culture. We visited
the cities of Poznan', Warsaw,
Cracow, Szecin' and the
concentration camps Auschwitz I
and Auschwitz II/Birkenau.
It was the most amazing trip
and an unforgettable experience.
I'm hoping we'll get to visit Europe again!

Yeah and it's not much fun... had to come in for some possible problems with the baby. Everything's ok now, just have to stay and be monitored for a few more days. Mostly bored is all. Luckily she and I are both fine.
